Hodinky has an article about it. Here's their take on it. On the gold mesh.
Seems like this should be in another thread. Just posting here because it's current.

Yes, we were discussing this one of kind gold bracelet about a week ago here:

According to the Hodinkee article, it was made specifically for Ryan Gosling at his request. He wanted to emulate the look of the 1158CHN that he wore in Barbie.

Surprised that Sky haven’t thought “how many races! Let’s hike the price” not that I have Sky F1 mind. I’ll make do with cooncil telly.

Wonder if it was similar to the recent comments against the Glasgow Celtic manager, a third party took offence at something he said, called a reporter “good girl”!

For me, the case was decided when RB's owner said he would not be willing to replace Horner.

Not a bad first day of the season for the Silver Arrows with P1 and P2 in FP2 😀

another nailbiter today! Max's margin was only 22 sec! Was surprised to see him sporting the Gold Carrera instead of the usual Monaco!

I watched my first F1 race in about two decades yesterday. Despite Brian Cox insisting it’s not a done deal, it was very much a done deal. Won by a good margin, but second place says it all regarding the car.

Is this how it is these days?

Yep.

Verstappen won 86.35% of the races in 2023, eclipsing the record previously held by Ascari from 1952, which stood at 75% (six of the eight races that year). Michael Schumacher, who is third, won 72.22% of his races in 2004, 13 out of 18 races that year. And given that Max added 10 seconds to his margin of victory at Bahrain yesterday, it will be another dominant season.

I don't mind Max winning but the races aren't even close, which is annoying.

Absolutely nothing against Max at all. He is clearly exceptional, no doubt about it. Just takes a bit of the fun out of it.

This FIA president really appears to be a complete potato. He thinks he’s some expert on political maneuvering when he’s simply a bull in a china shop. I didn’t fully appreciate at the time how well Jean Todt did that job, as the quiet statesman who wasn’t trying to get in the news with clumsy nonsense all the time

So apparently Jos told 'friends' that if Horner doesn't go then Max will leave Red Bull. Yeah sure. And go where? Mercedes. That'll be fun, watching Carlos Sainz take his seat and the next four WDCs.

The real scoop there is that Jos apparently has friends. Amazing as Max is, the leverage just isn’t the same with Red Bull as good as it is, throw in Sainz, Ricciardo, Alonso, and you’re still WDC.

That appears to be the rumor, although to clarify for others, this means he was potentially having a relationship with this woman, not that he was physically banging her into anything (to anyone’s knowledge).

It pays to be specific when it comes to Jos and women.
