Some good news!!!!! 馃榾

I got an update from Uncle Straps (formerly Uncle Seiko), seems he's decided in proceeding with making a GF style double grain BoR bracelet specifically for the Carrera glassbox family! Not just the endlinks, but a specific new bracelet.

He wants to buy a Gay Freres double grain BoR for R&D purposes. (I know, hard to find and expensive!) Anyone know of one that might be available?

They all suit this watch.
I think we will struggle to find something that doesn't work.
I put the 160th on a rally today also.

Nice side by side shot! 馃憤
It might just be the slight difference in angle or lighting, but the sunray looks deeper on the 160th. The two silvers are very similar, yet different aren't they.

This pic also shows why I love the OEM strap on the 60th so much. The previous TAG rally straps had a different texture and finish to the leather, also less of a taper from the lugs to the clasp.

Even though I like all of the combos I tried today, still think the OEM 60th strap is tops for me. However color wise, I might like a brown strap better than black, gives the watch a bit more warmth. Waiting to see @plibou's (atelier romane) camel colored strap for this watch, it might be my next purchase too.

I've ordered another strap and Pin Buckle today. Will put that on the 160 too.

Good to know they're available now. When I checked two weeks ago, my Boutique said they weren't available to order yet.

This side by side really does show the 2 different dials. The Panda changes alot more than the 160th though.
I'm falling in love with the 160th all over again since the Panda arrived.

They said 6 weeks as they were coming from Switzerland.

I would love to have this color strap in the form of the 60th's rally strap.

Your photo makes me think I want one for mine too, may I ask how much you'll pay for strap and buckle?

Hey Jim
It was around $330 AUD Strap and Buckle.
FC6350 is the Part number.
The 160th Clasp won't work as the Aligator strap is thinner so need both strap and Clasp.

Thanks! Sounds like a very reasonable price

Jim, were you asking about the older style rally strap and deployant clasp, shown on Anthony's 160? Or, the Panda's strap, FC8317?

My Boutique said the 60th Anniversary strap is $160 USD (not sure if that included the pin buckle). The info Anthony gave you was for the deployant style strap shown on his 160th.

Also FYI, FC6350 is a very dark blue and has blue stitching. There's a different part number for the black deployant style rally strap with black stitching (don't know the part number off the top of my head).

The honey brown fois gets my vote. Preferably on a racing style.
Since you can get a most excellent handmade strap by glc or atelier romane for around 100 euro, I鈥檓 confused why people would pay +300 for a TH strap.
