The culling continues, and after some thought I think I can live without this one - at least for a little while. Full set, like new condition with unworn original strap and buckle. Had a warranty repair performed for a chrono minute hand that wouldn’t reset to 0 occasionally (a common problem on Heuer-02s it seems). Asking $7695 US including shipping in the US. International shipping is available at additional cost; I have completed a number of problem-free international transactions. Returns accepted within 3 days if the watch comes back to me in the same condition I sent it in. Can include the fun-colored straps if you like, the orange one is basically brand new Please reach out if you’d like more photos, I’m posting now hoping I don’t have to dig the box out for a photoshoot but happy to do that for an interested buyer! I am not a dealer, but as a collector I have sold a decent number of watches when the time has come to make room for a new purchase. Seeing this makes me appreciate my panda a little bit more. Lucky buyer. Good luck with the sale though Adam, hope you don't regret it!
Chalking it up to those kinds of one-time things you usually have to deal with when you buy an older car (I hope!)
I hope so too. I've had my 997 for 15 years, it's the most reliable car I've ever owned (knocks on wood) and I've owned lots of cars in my time.
Well the coolant pipes were just bad luck, but at least the clutch and synchros were just due to some bad/inexperienced driving in its past. With the lines pinned and me being the only driver, I think the worst is past it
Clutch is a wear and tear item that's going to need doing on any manual eventually, at least 911s seem quite gentle to them - when I was looking at an Aston a couple of years ago, a clutch every 30-50k was normal. I'm quite glad my 911 had a clutch just before I bought it, but it's currently in pieces for a pair of front wheel bearings
