You may have noticed I had no hesitation in swapping the strap out straight away. The original will remain unused, very nice though it is.

Yes sure did...I've ordered another to keep aside.

Online, yes. There must be quite a few boutiques that didn't manage to sell their allocation yet.

So you're saying the flipper wasn't 100% telling the truth.... disgusting

Congrats @abrod520, looking good! 馃憤
You didn't waste any time changing the strap.

I never do! I usually prefer to keep original straps unworn. This one is so nice though I may follow Anthony's example and order a spare - if I don't end up liking it on this Veblenist strap I had around (which I do!)

Charlie, first of all I want to congratulate you, so glad you got one. That sure is one true Ice Panda, magical dial.

I don't know if you know but I am actually a very famous horology scientist. As input to this study I am performing I wanted to ask you if you could share with us how this new Ice Panda H02 behaves compared to your previous one? How is the hand winding, how wobbly is the rotor, how loud is it compared to previous references? All the details you got, much appreciated.

Happy panda day my friend

I can help as I am always one to support science!

Wobble and noise I would estimate at 50% reduction. It's still there but definitely not as noticeable as before. The rotor also doesn't free-spin for as long.

Hand winding and pusher action, the same. (I think they were already pretty good for an automatic chronograph)

50% reduction in wobble and noise is very good, the outcome of this study shall be satisfying for future H02 prospects. I'll add this data to the science algorithm and adjust data input for the horological science report. Thank you for your contributions.

I would agree with 50% for the wobble, but maybe only about 35% for the noise. And yes, not quite as free-spinning as before, but still more than most watches.

Very interesting, thank you very much. Do you think that the age difference is what makes you think that the noise is worse than Adam thinks? After all Adam is a young, rich super star in New York with no worries in life, picking up honeys with his Porsche. Maybe his science gets less sensitive due to this.
