Next year they re-issue with Kenissi movement, just sayin 😗😗😗
I doubt they'll do the exact same dial combination again. They haven't repeated any of the Cal 17 designs.

I'm not especially keen on the Heuer02. But it's not the reason I'm buying the watch.

It's the longest spinning rotor I've ever encountered. On the plus side, it's easy to charge up. On the negative, there's the noise and the worry that it's spinning much more than it needs to in order to keep the watch charged up (wear on the bearing?). But it's so far proven to be reliable at least. It'll do.

I don't mind the sound of the H02, but I know it bothers some. That being said, I heard that TAG Heuer is working to make it less noticeable.

By replacing it with a third party alternative? 😉

I was told that it’s releasing the 11th and I should receive my watch on the 13th if all goes smoothly. Hopefully that’s true.
Same for me. My pre-order states Jan 11th release. If they ship overnight, might get it on Thu, otherwise more likely Fri or Sat. I hope it doesn't take longer than that.

The 2020 WOTY Winner / TAG Heuer Carrera Silver 160 Years LE aka Ice King’s design cues were taken from the Heuer Carrera 2447S 1st execution. The silver sunburst dial is truly exceptional. While the 2023 WOTY Contender / TAG Heuer “Panda Carrera” design elements were taken from the 2447SN 2nd execution, shorter and painted hour markers, dial is not sunburst compared to the Ice King. I believe a well executed Panda will not disappoint 😉
Absolutely correct! 👍

However, I do believe the 60th Anniversary does have a "sunburst" effect on the dial, similar to the Silver 160th. But I think the shade of Silver on the Panda might be a tad lighter. I'll be curious to see pics of them side by side. To be honest, I kind of wish they went with the egg-shell dial of the original on this one, but that's a very minor thing, especially as I don't own the Silver 160th.

It slips when fully wound so no overwinding possible

I heard the updated H02 is a lot more quiet, unclear if the panda will already come with this update.

Yes I know, but it's still spinning around, and whenever something is moving you will get wear, right?

That would be the icing on the cake if so.

I'm not counting on it, expecting the same H02. But wouldn't that be awesome if it did!

FWIW my purple Monaco isn't noticeable at all, either the spinning weight or the noise. But that may also be because it's a chunkier watch - however, the Autavias were similar.

Hmmm, anyone with a Red Carrera glassbox notice any difference?

Tks to Eterna, your rotor of a high-quality Swiss timepiece turns on ball bearings since the 1950s (?) already. If these are good quality, I think you're in the clear for a very long time, whatever the noise...

But wouldn't it be funny if TH had already improved the H02 w/o anyone here noticing 😉

Yeah, but I had you worried for a second, eh?
I would start to get worried when Kenissi actually has a chrono caliber on offer 😜
