Going back to the topic of a BoR bracelet for the Glassbox Carrera, has anyone tried fitting an aftermarket BoR?

I'm tempted to buy this one from UncleStraps and test it out. It's designed for the Speedmaster FOIS, which is 19mm like the Glassbox Carrera. Since it has hollow end-links it might be able to fit. It's only $89 and worse case I can use it on my Speedy FOIS if it doesn't fit well on the Carrera.

I believe someone here did just that for his Ice King, but I'm incapable of telling you in which thread that photo was... 😵‍💫
I kind of recall that too. But I thought it was more commentary based on an IG picture of the green glassbox with an aftermarket BoR bracelet. Rather than someone here doing it.

I also recall that @thingziliketoo tried the Flatlink, but not sure if he tried the US BoR.

Found it. The US BoR does fit, but the end links need to be "massaged" to align with the Carrera's lugs.

Looks good, but the original Carrera had double grain BoR, single grain came with the '70s C cases ☕
In any case this will look stunning. Since it's a highly polished case, I would be a bit worried about scratching the lugs and case.

Those end links don't sit right with the case and would annoy me. Otherwise, the bracelet suits the watch very well.

No been around. From Crosthwaite, one of the early Heuer collectors and author. He updates regularly, I use it as a reference.

In related news: I’ve seen the photo that I suppose everyone else has seen in my TH boutique and yeah - it is tempting, despite the price 😲 (which - TBH - seems rather reasonable next to Zenith’s or IWC’s current prices or even next to a totally unlimited H02 Monaco).

I don't think the anal side of me could live with the end links not sitting flush with the lugs. But I do like the overall look if I don't stare at the fitment.

EDIT: I see that @thingziliketoo bent his end links to have them sit more flush. But as @Yago mentioned, with the all polished case, I'd be worried that the end links will leave marks. @thingziliketoo - Can you comment?

Only a couple more days to go anyways...

Forstner Flatlink (credit thingziliketoo)
Dan Henry 1964 bracelet (credit Yago)

Adjustment Required:
Uncle Straps (all Omega Speedmaster 19mm) (credit thingziliketoo)
Tag Heuer BA0787 (credit thingziliketoo)

After looking at these options, I think I'd be more inclined now to try the Dan Henry BoR that @Yago fitted to his CV. Since @thingziliketoo said the Forstner fit both his Glassbox and CV, there's a good chance the Dan Henry will fit both too.
