Thought I would share just in case someone else was looking for a bracelet option for the new Carrera releases with 19mm lugs. I saw a post on Instagram where a person had put one of the new Forstner Flatlink bracelets on their Hodinkee Skipper. I thought it looked good and asked how it fit. They said great so I thought I would give it a try. With a bit of patience, it fit snugly to the case. Sizing of the bracelet is a bit of a hassle but once done I think it’s aces. It is not factory quality but I feel worth the price due to the solid end links and construction. I hope this isn’t considered heresy to post. I feel it is good to have options. Let me know what you think.

Is that the same bracelet all the Omega guys are using on their Speedys to pretend it's an Ed White?

Looks good. But on that watch, just about anything does!

Very nice! Works very well IMHO :)

For me, it’s really the stunning Carrera dial that carried the watch. So I think, whatever bracelet/strap you might be able to put on it, you can surely pull it off ;)
    Cheers!

It does work well. I just don’t understand why TH don’t sell their own to fit. But good to see there are other options.

@thingziliketoo, what's your opinion of the Forstner compared to the Uncle Seiko (pictured below)? Do you think the Uncle Seiko flat link would work as an option for the 19mm lug Carrera as well? They both work on the 19mm lug Speedy FOIS, so one might assume they both should work on the Carrera.

I will be trying out one or two of the Uncle Seiko bracelets next month. I am thinking Holzer and Beads of Rice. I went for the Forstner due to the solid end links. I am not sure it’s worth the $60 premium getting the Forstner over US. The bracelet is nice but it is nowhere near the factory bracelet on my CV2113. I also paid much more for the factory bracelet so I get the price/quality difference. I just wanted a bracelet option.
It is light on the wrist though and has a bit of Seiko jubilee jangle which I find gives a vintage feel as well. I enjoy changing things up so the bracelets will be fun. I’ll post when I get the others.

I posted this photo on IG a while back...

And got this comment from Guy Berryman, who is a big TAG Heuer fan. And the bass guitar player for Coldplay

Sounds like TAG Heuer is making him a bracelet- hopefully they’ll be made available for collectors

So I took advantage of Uncle Seiko’s Black Friday deals and ordered a Holzier and Beads of Rice bracelet. The bracelets are nice but the end links do not fit like the Fostner band and will require a bit of tweaking to fit nicely. They did not fit right away like the flat link from Fostner. Pictures are for reference and this is after a half hour of tweaking just to get spring bars in to check fit and they have a pretty ugly gap. Will try adjusting this weekend or when I have some time. I like the look and the quality of the bracelet besides the end link seems equivalent to the Fostner.

One really nice detail about the Fostner that I initially missed, is that the links at the clasp are spring loaded and have some give. Makes it really comfortable and I was able to adjust for a really nice fit.

Finally fitted the Uncle Seiko beads of rice. Took a bit of tweaking on the end links. If you’re not handy or patient this is not the bracelet option for you. It will be a nice added choice when I have a bracelet itch.
