I don't mind the sound of the H02, but I know it bothers some. That being said, I heard that TAG Heuer is working to make it less noticeable.
I was told that it’s releasing the 11th and I should receive my watch on the 13th if all goes smoothly. Hopefully that’s true.
The 2020 WOTY Winner / TAG Heuer Carrera Silver 160 Years LE aka Ice King’s design cues were taken from the Heuer Carrera 2447S 1st execution. The silver sunburst dial is truly exceptional. While the 2023 WOTY Contender / TAG Heuer “Panda Carrera” design elements were taken from the 2447SN 2nd execution, shorter and painted hour markers, dial is not sunburst compared to the Ice King. I believe a well executed Panda will not disappoint 😉
It's the longest spinning rotor I've ever encountered. On the plus side, it's easy to charge up. On the negative, there's the noise and the worry that it's spinning much more than it needs to in order to keep the watch charged up (wear on the bearing?). But it's so far proven to be reliable at least. It'll do.
That would be the icing on the cake if so.

I heard the updated H02 is a lot more quiet, unclear if the panda will already come with this update.
FWIW my purple Monaco isn't noticeable at all, either the spinning weight or the noise. But that may also be because it's a chunkier watch - however, the Autavias were similar.
Yes I know, but it's still spinning around, and whenever something is moving you will get wear, right?
