·I just watches it again. Max outbraked Lewis, he had the position through the corner. Lewis should have backed off. I don’t understand he didn’t have to give the position back.
Because he hasn't done that half a dozen times already this year, has he? It's become his signature move!

·If the clerk of the course considers it safe to do so, and the message ‘LAPPED CARS MAY NOW OVERTAKE’ has been sent to all Competitors via the official messaging system, any cars that have been lapped by the leader will be required to pass the cars on the lead lap and the Safety Car.

·I was not able to watch live and recorded the race. Towards the end it looked like Hamilton was a given so I hit fast forward. Suddenly Max wins! What the heck just happened!? Rewind, wow, speechless, miracle ending!
This has been the most exciting and memorable season for me since Kimi won in 2007! Congrats to Max, Redbull and of course TAG Heuer!

Latest I’ve seen so far is 1st appeal thrown out and FIA has released a tweet announcing Max as champ. But being the FIA anything could happen.

·Is it confirmed that they completely ignored current rules and made up new ones on the fly? Sounds very retarded if true.... like they dont want anyone to maintain the respect for F1. But lots of angry rainbow fans online right now so tricky to know what is true.

·A lot of comments on IG and Reddit about letting lapped cars through. People don’t seem to understand this always happens under SC. Race direction not exaclty letting cars change racing order under SC 😒

·Lewis was unlucky today but overall it evens out, no? Without Max’s bad luck puncture the WC had already been decided. Max had no part in any of today’s controversy. He was fired up and ready once the opportunity presented itself. He overtook Lewis and narrowly defended position. He’s a deserving champion, as Lewis would have been.

·I made a deal with myself to buy the Monaco if Max wins. Then I figured I want to wait first and see if TAG releases a special WDC watch!
But if they do, you'd want that more than the watch he wore to become champion?

·Merc still intend to appeal.... how long will that take? When is the Gala where Max gets his trophy? Surely it has to be resolved before that. Usually that's a good few weeks after the end of the season but presumably it is before Christmas?
