Luckily, Marc Marquez's victory in Moto GP (Sachsenring, Germany) has compensated me for Paul Ricard's result! 😉 👍 ::psy::

It was like in Barcelona, but in reverse. As in Barcelona, the Mercedes had better race pace, but this time Red Bull's strategy was the right one, and also their undercut unexpectedly worked with 3 seconds of disadvantage 😵‍💫
Exciting race to the finish, just as the season promises to be 👍

Congrats to RBR, Max, and TAG Heuer 👍… and looking forward to seeing the race in Austria next weekend! 🍿

A Double WIN for HONDA on both F1 & MotoGP ::psy::::psy::

AMAZING ::rimshot::

What a crazy race again. I was on the edge of my seat since Max's 2nd pit stop! Unbelievable driving and strategy! Best F1 season in years!

Albert is normally the one updating us on the charts, not sure why he hasn't done it lately.

Look at it. Simply lovely.

What shockingly awful trophies though, seriously!
I love them, I think Checo's the nicest one

Because for me it is not lovely… 👎

Triple WIN, with another Catalan driver (like Marc Màrquez) winning the Indycar race at Road America: Alex Palou, who is leading the Championship 👍

One thing bugged me during the race, and that was Max saying 'I don't know if we have more power, but if we have let's use it'.
I grew up with qualifying engines and engines that were designed to last 201 miles, and I know that now we have to save engines and make them last for 3 years, but it really irks me in the 'pinnacle of motorsport' that none of these guys is actually able to use all the power they have because they always have to think about 'saving the engine' for the next race(s). It makes a mockery of all the 'expert analysis' because you never know who is using what percentage of the potential of the engine available.

I think what he meant is if he has “reserved” energy from the KERS / MGU-K which he can use to give additional “power or boost” 👍

Limiting number of engines per year also meant knowing who makes the “most reliable/durable” engine given maximum power used in the track. It’s all about playing and bending with the current rules and policies. If you notice, teams are always on the look out for loopholes in current rules which can be manipulated and translate to their own advantage 😉

Colin McRae said it best, “If in doubt, flat out”
Formula 1, it should be fastest always first, bring back quali engines and tyres, spare chassis and special brew fuels, those who spend most usually win so not much would change, it wouldn’t harm the environment much more than the circus already does.
