·I just received an update to Watchmaker and the performance on the 2020 is much improved. In fact, I don't see any lag with the notifications/menu. Are others experiencing the same?
Is there anyway we could email anyone higher at TAG Heuer than customer service to get a real answer? In my experience, they only know what they know from reading a script on a computer facing them when they're on the phone with a customer.
Replacing the battery is not a technical impossibility, it's a business choice. They're betting that we'll buy again. Do you hear yourselves talking about your beloved Gen 1 and 2 that you own in addition to a Gen 3?The sounds you hear are TAG Heuer executives rubbing their hands, licking their lips and drooling.
The gen 3 has screws holding the back plate on. Something must open on it ?
Yes, for this reason we thought (and even someone wrote) that it was to change the battery, but it’s not... This is the testimony of another Gen3 owner after speaking with TH:
It's time to draw straws. Whomever gets the short one has to open their watch.
it is certainly not designed to easily remove the battery, it is more of a battery component than just a battery.
However if you can get your hands on that component which only tag or let’s say a Chinese factory will have then it’s possible.
Then if the watch can be opened and the battery removed, is TAG Heuer's choice not to replace it. I'm guessing when the day comes that the battery dies, a third party company may offer battery replacements. Being out of warranty, there wouldn't much to lose at the time.

I got a save a date date email from TAG Heuer today. Is not Gen 4, is it?
