Anyone know how to place the heart rate into one of the small dials?
Or maybe you could sell just the smartwatch module for around 300-400€, and keep the ti lugs, ti bracelet, ti buckle, and the 3 rubber straps, buying a Calibre 5 and/or Calibre 16 modules “Connected to Eternity” 😉
So first dilemma;
1) Do I: A. get it or B. just stay with my still awesome Connected Modular 45 and my two mechanical modules?
2) If A., do I get the black ceramic bezel with black rubber or the steel bezel with the Black rubber? My Connected Modular 45 is with black ceramic bezel.
Any thoughts?
T TAG GUYIf the bezel is in fact PVD, stay away, it will scratch. The DLC on my MARQ has scratched and I am super gentle with it. I'm told DLC is way stronger than PVD too. Although the PVD on my Porsche Design is still mint so who knows.
From posts on here by @Calibre11 , it seems like the hardness of the underlying material affects how tough the coating is. Pvd on steel scratches a lot more easily than Pvd on ti.
Hello everyone,
Please help me with the RAM size is there in 3rd gen connected?
1GB as far as I know.
I'd really like a confirmation of this, because 1GB of RAM is absolutely essential for Snapdragon 3100. Anything less than this amount of RAM is for me a reason to not buy. My Fossil Sport with Snapdragon 3100 and 512MB of RAM is extremely sluggish and a much worse performer than my TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 with also 512MB but with the Intel Atom.
Tag 45 have 1GB of RAM.... not 512.
Nope, it has an Intel Atom processor Z34XX (which is a processor they actually use in smartphones) but with 512MB of RAM and 4GB storage. I found the specs in this press release from the Golf Edition, which are the same for any other Gen2 Modular 45:
Gen2 Modular 41 was launched later, and it has 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage, but not the 45
