T TAG GUYEven with all the setbacks and cost cutting from TAG, I am really liking this watch, and will be selling my 45 setup. The 45 will be missed, but this is the future, and the future is looking great. What can I sell my setup for? One 45 titanium module only minimal wear, ti lugs and one clasp, ti bracelet, and three rubber straps?
So first dilemma;
1) Do I: A. get it or B. just stay with my still awesome Connected Modular 45 and my two mechanical modules?
2) If A., do I get the black ceramic bezel with black rubber or the steel bezel with the Black rubber? My Connected Modular 45 is with black ceramic bezel.
Any thoughts?
Or maybe you could sell just the smartwatch module for around 300-400€

Just so you know, although the bezel looks steel, it is actually pvd ceramic.
Anyway my favourite Gen3 is the black titanium case, but steel with black ceramic bezel would be my second choice 👍

Doing B you would save a lot of money 😉, but If you can afford it and you really like it, do A, because you can still keep enjoying your mechanical modules “Connected to Eternity” with the modular accessories. And if you are not iPhone user, then you can tether more than one smartwatch to your phone, so you would still enjoy your Connected Modular 45 (I’m iPhone user, and this is one of the main reasons I did B)
About which one of these three Gen3, I would take the one with steel bracelet, and I would then order a rubber strap (for instance the black rubber strap with red stitching). If you buy it in this order, it’s much cheaper than buying now the watch with rubber strap and later the steel bracelet

I have a Sony Xperia and already three Wear OS tethered on it. I can definitely keep using my Connected Modular 45. I never wear though bracelets, so it is really just between the two versions with the black rubber strap. If I didn't have my Connected Modular 45 with black ceramic bezel, I'd definitely go for the black ceramic Connected 3. But now I like the silver bezel just as much as the black. It wasn't the case with the previous gen., where the steel bezel was cheaper and really not as nice. So, I'm completely undecided.
That was my first taste as well, but now I think that the watch stands out more with the steel case than the full black one.
Yes, the steel version maybe looks more luxury, and the black titanium version looks more sporty... my choice for the black titanium is also because -coming from the titanium Gen2- I would not like to get down in material quality moving to next Gen... but it’s also true that -at the moment- there is no bracelet for the black titanium version, and the bracelet fits the case much better than the rubber strap, so unless there’s also a black ceramic bracelet coming in the future, then it’s not easy to decide 😕... I would need to have both on my hands, but the option (or not) of the black bracelet would be also important 👍
