I think most of us would say the 80s & 90s are the top two.
That seems to be the consensus on this forum. For me, I think the first 3 have the most "wow" factor. The last 2 are more subtle, but still very nice and likely preferable for some.

It's funny because after seeing the initial renders, I didn't think I'd want to buy anyone of them over the CAW211P Blue McQueen. But now I'd be happy to own any or all of them and super happy that I was fortunate enough to get the one I wanted.

What's the list price on the box set? I wonder how much they'll go for on the aftermarket.

For me the best are the middle 3. Some days I think the 80s > 90s > 00s, while others the 90s > 80s > 00s.

I feel exactly the same, in terms of what I'd buy. The 90's is the one that grabbed me the most upon its reveal. But the blazing 80s dial is also hard to resist. You're lucky in that you have your favorites, either way. 😁

I think the 70s watch is the most unique and retro looking. I simply don't care for its colors (my personal taste). However from a collectors view, I have an affinity for it.

I suspect it might be a harder choice for me deciding on 00s vs 10s if I walked into a TH boutique and both were available. Based on the early renders, I liked the 10s over the 00s. Based on the reveal photos, I'd take the 00s. But I have a feeling I might feel differently about the 10s if seeing it in the metal vs the 00s, or maybe not. 😵‍💫

From the 00s vs 10s, I'd pick the first every time. That said, it the last one had been a full phantom design, then it would have been amazing.

Now this is fantastic. Photos by Onthedash

So is this hand wind now then? As they've removed the rotor?

If this is an original Calibre 11, it has a micro-rotor. It isn't evident in the photographs though.

The Monaco Piece D'Art is a very fitting tribute for the Monaco's 50th. 👍 I love it! 🥰 Makes me lust after a round pushers re-edition even more.

I wonder how much this one of kind watch will fetch at the auction. I doubt it will surpass the auction price of the watch McQueen wore in the film, but we'll see. Any guesses?

I think this will go for more than 50K USD, but probably not beyond 100K.

I know that you are all serious collectors and I must admit that I love all the versions (some more than others - especially Red and Green which are spectacular in my opinion).

But all I really wanted was a blue version which is not as dull as the current CAW211P and I don’t even care if it’s a limited edition (although if it was I would sell all my other watches to buy it).

Can anyone recommend a previous model that I should try and track down?

Thanks 😀

If the CAW211P isn't good enough for you, why not go for the 40th Anniversary Blue McQueen CAW211A? I believe the shade of blue is ever so slightly lighter, not sure if I'd call it brighter.

That low huh? My guess is that it might top $100K but not more than $200K.
