Confirming that there won’t be a 50th Anniversary Monaco..there will be (at least) three 50th Anniversary editions! “Half a century later, this iconic model is being honoured with events in Europe, the US and Asia throughout 2019 – and a new Monaco limited-edition model will be launched at each event“ http://en.worldtempus.com/article/w...e/tag-heuer-50-years-of-the-monaco-27121.html Edit: https://forums.calibre11.com/thread...ersary-watch-1-1969-79-limited-edition.95687/ https://forums.calibre11.com/thread...ersary-watch-2-1979-89-limited-edition.96551/ https://forums.calibre11.com/thread...ersary-watch-3-1989-99-limited-edition.97185/ https://forums.calibre11.com/thread...ersary-watch-4-1999-09-limited-edition.98322/ https://forums.calibre11.com/thread...ersary-watch-5-2009-19-limited-edition.98323/
Hopefully it will not be 3 extremely limited overpriced versions that only a few will be able to enjoy
Yes, I think that would make sense. I wonder if there might be a couple of Heuer-branded options and maybe a modern, forward looking design which would make more sense with the TAG Heuer logo
Given that the March 3 date has passed, the next obvious launch date would be the Monaco Grand Prix at the end of May.
I suppose it might already start in 2 days at the geneva motor show, given the presence there...? https://forums.calibre11.com/thread...ence-at-geneva-motor-show.90958/#post-1177966
I would guess Baselworld would be one - TAG is still presenting there, right? Very interested to see what they do, though they've gotten quite close to the 1133 with the recent ones already. Fingers crossed for a case sized closer to the original, and circular pushers!
Not to wander off topic but, while I'm still a little grumpy about using the cal 5 and 7 movement on the autavia I am looking forward to seeing expansion of autavia range. Especially the bronze one. ... But not as much as im looking forward to seeing the Monacos! Could well be my next purchase..... question is if they are only going to reveal one at a time, how to know when to pull the trigger
