Ah, no.... pinched off Monochrome!
Meow. I like it.
But now that they're all revealed, I don't know if I will ever want a modern Monaco unless pump pushers make a comeback. Only modern one that tickles my fancy with flirtatious overtures is the France LE from 2017.
I too love the France 2017 LE ...... take the travel bag out of the new box set and replace it with that pretty boy !
The France LE is indeed fantastic.
The Monochrome photos are stunning as usual. The weak point of this latest one is the high-reflective subdials. If they had been matte or more subdued, it would have been great.
Agree. In fact, I would have liked the dials to be even less contrasting in color, I wish they used a matte grey, similar in shade to the lettering used on the watch. Also, I would have preferred the case to have been a dark grey or black and the pushers & crown matching with the case. This would have made watch 5 much more desirable for me, it would have given it a more complete "stealth" look.
The 50th anniversary models have been pleasant, but I was somehow expecting more than just a dial and hands change (for the most part). I knew in reality this would be the case, but still....
A dark lord would have been cool, but just hoped that it would have been the launch of a new case I guess with round pushers. A PVD case, a CF case, a Titanium case would have fitted nicely in with the missing eras I’d have though.
Given that they will all be sought after due to the limited release of 169 and further reduced to 119 (as I cant see box sets being split up) what are peoples opinions as to which will be the most sought after, not necessarily peoples favourite but which will be the hardest to find …..
