I was really hoping to get a 50th Anniversary Speedmaster, but now it's off my list after they did that.
It will be the first of a set this year I believe.

Hope they aren't following Omega's lead, with that nasty solid gold Speedmaster (32,000CHF).

Seriously, I’d rather that omega than a monopoly or Senna watch to be fair. I quite like it.

A gold Monaco would be really nice though I’m sure.

I would like a pre-Moon Ed White with the 321 movement.

Not too keen on gold, so I hope the special editions don't use precious metals or jewels on the case.

Haha the Alec Monopoly watches are quite the experience... although it’s quite a big statement to spend your money and then seriously wear one of those.

A yellow/pink gold Monaco would probably need something I’d have to own one day, regardless whether I’d be able to afford it or not.

Given that the Lady Link solid gold is £17,000 how much would they charge for a solid gold Monaco?

Chances are very high there’ll be a steel version with a larger production run, so keep your eyes open in the next couple weeks

Hopefully there’s no Monopoly Monaco 😁

My guess (based on nothing more than speculation Or wishful thinking)

Use of heuer 02 movement
Heuer02 circular pushers
Possible 3 register 73663 variant
Dark lord variant
Metal bracelet

Hasn't the Heuer 02 movement been a bit shonky?

I agree a metal bracelet would be very nice.

Well... on the movement, not sure we've done a scientific poll. I've got two H02s:
One went a bit funny after i dropped it and it was fixed free under warranty. Think that can be considered my fault.
I had an issue with a subdial hand also fixed under warrantee and no issue since.
I can only recall one other reported issue on the movement on this forum but there may have been more...

I'm not sure about a Black PVD case (and I'm speculating- I don't know any of the models planned). Issue in the past has been that the coating doesn't agree with the sharp, square edges of the Monaco case. I believe that this has been an issue with the Calibre 12 ACM Monaco from a couple of years back.

Maybe this has been solved, but it's by no means straight-forward to apply the usual titanium-carbide coating to the Monaco.

Is the Monaco case shape feasible in ceramic? That’d be one way awound the challenge with PVD.

I’d expect it to be around the £14k mark if on leather strap. £20k ish of bracelet. Thiugh i’m not sure that would work well tbh.

Omega’s 50th anni bling watch is £25k give or take, and that's on full metal rather than leather strap.

Yes, or Carbon works...I think it's just a steel case with titanium-carbide coating that has been more of a challenge

I reported on it about a year ago since the date sometimes stuck and a chronograph hand wouldn’t reset correctly. This was maybe because of me being stupid and shifting date late night, but the movement was fixed under warranty. After this episode I’ve had no problems whatsoever.

Hope it's better than the old one, I saw a guy wearing a white dial 'Gulf' on a bracelet and it looked horrendous!

DLC shouldn't be an issue on sharp corners. And the Monaco's aren't that sharp, when compared to the original case. A Dark Lord would be an easy win 👍
