Thanks, yes I think it is the nicest of all GCs with the possible exception of the blue dial chronograph - also 300pcs.

Thanks Martin, yes the 40.5mm GC is a much nicer size than the 43mm I used to have. The slim bezel just doesn't work on a watch that big and empty.

·So this is kind of like getting a new watch. After taking forever to take some great advice from @imagwai , I finally ordered some custom corfam style straps from GLC Straps that work with the factory deployant. They came out great and were extremely reasonable in price. I highly recommend their straps and custom shop. You will see many more photos of them on my Instagram

I'm also a fan of GLC and have their corfam racing replica strap. However, I've not seen this style with the large holes in the center, mine has uniform holes. Is that one of the custom things you asked for?

·@Mspeedster they have a few different corfam racing styles, I ordered the “Racing Replica 3 Corfam Strap” and had them lightly pad it to add some thickness at the spring bar area. I really like the vintage feel of a pin buckle strap but enjoy the perfect sizing using the deployant.

·They look great! Glad you like them. I haven't tried them for a deployant strap before, but they did manage to accomodate a couple of custom requests on the strap I bought from them. I think you chose the right option to have some padding at the spring bar end - that would have made a positive difference on mine I think.
