I visited a Longines boutique the other day too. They didn't have the Ultra Chron, but this Heritage Diver caught my eye. It's very 70s funky retro, but I thought it was pretty cool.
I also had another look at the Hamilton Intra matic, both auto and manual wind.
TAG better hurry up and make that panda glassbox Carrera, otherwise I'm really tempted to get one of these.
Interesting… Pre-owned? Because these (and it’s chrono sibling) must have been discontinued for years!

We are on the same page Michael.
I've been wearing my Intra Matic American Classic Limited Edition more often these days.
Nice! 👍
I'm drawn to the reverse panda too. I believe the LE is larger than the two I looked at, how does it wear compared to your Carrera 160th?
The pair I tried on both wore quite similar to my Carrera Dato. I preferred the manual wind, which sits flatter on the wrist due to its flat case back and slightly thinner case, also like its boxed crystal. But it's still pretty thick for a manual wind chrono; that's the only gripe I have about the watch. For $2k, it seems like a good value.
Seen in isolation, the Hamilton is a nice watch. But in direct comparison it pales quite a bit (case finish, proportions, crow/pusher ensemble), no… 👎
Boggles my mind that TH just sits on this case (which can accommodate their fetish H02) and basically does nothing with it at a large commercial scale!
Finally had a chance to try on the Black Bay Pro. I'm on the fence about whether to get it.
I like it a lot too, but the thickness puts me off a tad, and then I compare to my BB58 blue, and I think I already have a watch I prefer. Of course if money were no object, I'd enjoy both, but I am happy it makes me appreciate what I already have.
Just arrived. Not the most amazing condition, honestly.... but still pretty cool and I can always get it refinished. Annoyingly I need a link for the bracelet so I can't actually wear it.
