My "next" TAG Heuer will either be the Jack Heuer 85th Birthday Auatavia

If they release a larger Connected around November that is more aesthetically pleasing than the 45mm, then I might consider that too.

thanks to the great reviews here @Calibre11 this is next on the horizon (unless TAG woos me with something new) - I would like to have one two-tone gold watch in the collection and this is a good mix of gold on black titanium

Let's see, where do we start.
Saving the Carrera; I am on the lookout for a 1887, in blue, or, Fuji Speedway, or, black v2. In that order.
Not all of them as it might cost me a divorce, but at least one.

Failure to do so, I will be willing to consider a titanium mutant Carrera or the recently launched blue version @43mm.

At one point of another, i will have monaco vintage reedition. Preferably the "dark lord" or similar style

My question is, will they make something similar to "dark lord" in the future (now that they made the gulf) or should i just get the blue one steve mcqueen. I feel like the black one is more of my style than the blue.

Funny you should mention the "Dark Lord" Monaco. I was thinking this could be a good candidate to celebrate Monaco's 50th anniversary in 2019. We'll just have to wait and see if something like this materializes.

Thanks to the peer pressure from OttoWilliam, the Carrera Chronometer is coming at the end of June. I also have a feeling that my better half will be getting me the Autavia sometime this year. She saw it me and seems to like it a lot and kept on asking me how much of a discount I can swing with my AD. But then again, I'm wondering if this watch will be for her instead 😕

Hahaha thats kinda the point, i cant afford the vintage dark lord. So i am waiting for the reedition.

But you can 👍. Its a good investment. 😗

Hmm, investment eh? Let me see if I can convince the better half to cash out our son's education fund. I'm sure the watch has a better return then what we are currently getting with the education fund 😗

Not sure what the next purchase will actually be, but the list of wants is:

- Carrera Calibre 36 (black titanium)

Okay, so i went to the boutique today. Put the autavia (brown leather version) in my hand.

What can i say ? The watch doesnt speak to me. I love the quality of the leather strap though.

Since i am already there and i am not that eager to pull the trigger on Autavia, the sales was kind enough to offered me even more discount for the telemeter calibre 18. Provided that they propose it to the management and will inform me should the good news arrive.

But during that time i asked why in the world they didnt import the calibre 7 gold ? They offered me this instead (picture attached). Calibre 5 rose gold Carrera. I think they having a hard time selling it. They willing to offer me super great discount for it. About the price of steel calibre 5.

What do you guys think ? Is it good to get calibre 5 rose gold ?

Here are some pros i can think of:
1. Rose gold instead of yellow gold. I like rose gold because its more subtle to my taste
2. The price is insanely reasonable. Should i decided to pull trigger on it, it might be the best value tag heuer i am being offered so far.
3. I like the 3 hander style of carrera(sweeping second)
4. Did i mention everything is rose gold even the crown, except the case, the buckle and the rotor (lets include movement with the rotor)?
5. Hour marker instead of arabic numeral (which is always my preferance)

Cons:
1. I am being shallow here. But its not HEUER. Its Tag Heuer. I am thinking if it is Heuer i wouldnt have to think twice.
2. Its calibre5. Not calibre6. I have calibre 12, 17, 5, 6, & heuer01, and i think the weakest of them all in maintaining +/- per day is calibre 5.

What do you guys think ? Any inputs are welcome
