I spent the majority of my weekend just enjoying and obsessing over my new watch. (What can I say, I'm a watch nerd. LOL)
One thing I was careful to check on before buying was the glare issue that
@abrod520 had been quite vocal about. I respect a lot of what Adam has to say, but I just wasn't seeing it. Sure there's glare under certain lighting, but nothing that out of the ordinary to me.
So today I compared my new Seamaster NTTD to two of my other watches, the Speedmaster FOIS and BB58. All three watches have domed sapphire crystals with AR coating only on the underside. I took these pictures in the same position, purposely in lighting to show glare. All three to my eye seem to reflect glare about the same.

But with a slight change in viewing angle, it's easy to get the glare to go away.
