Congrats @Mspeedster, one of the coolest Seamasters. Recognisable but very different to most you will see in the wild.
Congratulations, @Mspeedster! Beautiful piece, and an excellent way to mark the milestone birthday!
Very cool watch, well done 馃憤
Congrats @Mspeedster ! 馃榾 Very nice, and very cool 007 edition! 馃憤
Thank you all! I really appreciate the kind words.

I was going to wait until later in the year, since I expect Omega to release a 60th Anniversary Bond piece and also expect a JH90 to be coming. But I've always wanted this one, so just decided to go for it.

Just purchased this over the weekend. I couldn't be happier! 馃榾

It's an early birthday gift to myself. Like the James Bond movie franchise, I'll be turning 60 in a few months and decided to start celebrating with this watch. I had considered the new H02 Monaco Gulf, the "60" at 12 o'clock would've been appropriate. However, I wanted something different and this "No Time To Die" Seamaster 007 edition also has my birth year on the case back (A/007/62). The '62 stands for the year Dr. No was released. I literally grew up with Bond.

I've been very keen on this one ever since it was first announced way back in Dec. 2019.

awesome watch - congrats on the pickup!

Congratulations @Mspeedster
It's great to see you've got that beauty.
How awesome to recognise a milestone birthday with an Omega.
Enjoy it in good health for many many years to come.

I have been after a particular watch for a couple of years also and hoped I would have it for my 50th. So 3 months after I turned 50 it will be here tomorrow.

Will it be on mesh though?
Who knows, perhaps the style of the NTTD will find its way onto new releases. But I didn't like Omega's 40th or 50th Anniversary Bond watches, so there's a good chance I won't like the 60th more than the NTTD.

Thank you @Hubert! I've admired yours for quite some time!

I was also considering a Seamaster 300 heritage, like the one you recently got. But it didn't sit as well on my wrist, perhaps due to its longer lugs. I'm quite surprised at how well the 300M wears for me; similar to the Speedy Pro Moonwatch, it wears smaller than its 42mm size indicates. Plus the NTTD edition is thinner than the normal 300M at 13mm. I just love this thing! 馃榿

I spent the majority of my weekend just enjoying and obsessing over my new watch. (What can I say, I'm a watch nerd. LOL)

One thing I was careful to check on before buying was the glare issue that @abrod520 had been quite vocal about. I respect a lot of what Adam has to say, but I just wasn't seeing it. Sure there's glare under certain lighting, but nothing that out of the ordinary to me.

So today I compared my new Seamaster NTTD to two of my other watches, the Speedmaster FOIS and BB58. All three watches have domed sapphire crystals with AR coating only on the underside. I took these pictures in the same position, purposely in lighting to show glare. All three to my eye seem to reflect glare about the same.

But with a slight change in viewing angle, it's easy to get the glare to go away.

Well finally after 2 years on the Waiting list it has arrived. Couldn't be happier with this one.
Slightly late 50th Birthday Present but hey I'm not complaining.
