No I haven't actually, thanks. At some point I guess I will have to address the pre-1985 models as well, especially as there's no clean cut off between the two.

I tell you what, as incomplete as this list is, it brings home to you just how many of each model there have been. For example, I've already got down 86 Monacos, and that doesn't include the old Heuer models. The Carrera, F1 and Aquaracer ranges are huge as well.

I'm a little bit puzzled by the strapcode for the CV5040 as FC6180 is a black alligator strap for deployant (according to a search on chrono24) however the watch came on a blue alligator with pin buckle.

I've done the first stage (transfering all the model codes from the gallery blog) and I'm steadily adding the photo links, I'm 2/3 way down the 6000s now....

Sweet! Think I've done enough for today, I'm down to the end of the Aquaracer chronographs!

Just noticed in a '4000' mini catalogue I have that the part number is the same for watches with a bracelet or with a strap... but in the price list that came with it it says 'Strap' after the number. This applies to quite a lot of part numbers, and then the same applies even with watches that weren't available on straps, so from that I conclude the old XXX.XXX numbers didn't determine the bracelet or strap style at all!

Also, it seems the difference between the 999.206 and the 999.206K was that the K version didn't have lume on the bezel...
