A good read.. Well actually I got Siri to read it to me while I was stuck in traffic this morning.
Just so happened that it was set on a Female voice so your answers were like my perception of the perfect woman. i.e. One who is passionate about Heuer...anyway- I digress.
Your story of how you got into Tag Heuer and some of the watches which are dear to you are very similar to my own.
My first Heuer (Monza re-edition) purchased in Aus some 20 years ago just had me hooked.
I take from this reading this Interview (Which I must say was well structured by Aquagraph and a joy to read for Siri) and through reading your articles over the years that you are passionate on Design in all forms.
This was never more evident than when I experienced, first hand, the design or should I say restraint in design of the Calibre 11 Siffert Autavia. I like to think of this watch as the watch of the decade 2010-2020 adorning the Heuer livery. Of course Tag Heuer had a big part to play in the original make up and look but taking it that extra step will , in my opinion, make this watch in years to come to be an absolute classic.
Without attempting to re-interview you David, have you always been interested in Design and is it something you are passionate about?
Cheers
Darryn
