Which ones are they? My pick is far from what I would call ideal, but I still think that is the TH model that will be remembered from 2024.
Me trying to remember what Hubert's no 1 was cos I can't remember all of them.... 🤔

Does anyone even remember the tribute to 844?
Only because it was a missed opportunity for the official THF watch to be a TAG not a bb58.

But... as I recall only 1 forum member bought it. And he sold it.

Just imagine if they’d released a 39mm, slim, in house movement, 1000 series inspired dive watch, with a Heuer logo, and sold it for £2500…. Or even if they released a 844 inspired greta-graph!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. It would be limited to 500 pieces and it would be £7500

Orange dial was EQUAL 2ND in 2022.
I even voted that as my WOTY. lol

What am I like!?!

Just got carried away with Carrera’s always stealing the show, even when they look the same as the year before. 🤪

IIRC, there were at least two who bought the 844 tribute, @Jemagloh and @abrod520. Also, @Hubert was planning to buy it, until you guys scared him with that unscientific science about the Cal 5 failing.

Oh, right... you could be right. In fact you probably are with your photographic memory.

I enjoyed the 844 edition for a bit, though was always disappointed that it wasn't no-date and that the grade of titanium used was not noticeably lighter than or indeed looked any different from steel. Ultimately I found that neither the 844E nor the Orange Diver really made it to my wrist much after the initial honeymooning period, so even though they are cool the Aquaracer isn't WOTY material if you ask me.

What I also found interesting is that last year's runner up, the forum darling Chronotempvs Collectors Carrera, doesn't seem to be a keeper. @Anthony. traded his to @abrod520, who in turn has it for sale. @YG_Rulz also has his for sale. Not sure if @Jemagloh still has his, since all he does is post wrist shots of Omegas these days. LOL

😢

That leaves @Hubert (as far as forum regulars with a CC), but I don't think he sells anything as he's building a museum! 😁
