Yeah, I have higher hopes for next year's poll. Although I still think it will be a Carrera.
That’s the problem right there, people like what they like model wise and so will naturally score their favourite model broadly higher as they are predisposed to do so. Not a criticism of Carrera lovers, as we are all affected by our natural attraction. I probably vote Aquaracer’s higher myself I would imagine.

I am guessing it will be Carrera for the foreseeable unless more people join the mix, who like other models, or current Carrera lovers stop voting.

Unless there is some super sexy completely new model released which unlikely takes everyone’s interest across the board…but I suspect a panda chrono will always be on the cards to sneak the win.

I voted for the Skipper for Watch of the Year. The Panda was great but I think the Skipper was finally that 'bridge' watch between the Heuer heritage and TAG's desire to blaze its own trail.

Hi Rob!

Thank you again for your work and to organize this contest of the best -and the worst- TAG Heuer watches of the year 👍

The 2023 winner was very obvious and most of the COCO members will have agreed, and that is why I liked to also agree on the 2nd on the podium (Carrera Chronotempvs). Curious that my 3rd on the podium (Carrera French LE) was the 2nd with the best score but instead it was left off the WOTY podium, in fifth position. Without a doubt the story behind the Skipper, an iconic name in the history of the Carrera, has helped in getting it onto the podium even though these new glassboxes are not to everyone's taste (mine neither).

Congratulations to the winners and the top ten, and especially to the forum members who have purchased any of them! 😀

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, all I read was...

the Silver 160th CBK221B just clings on to it's undisputed number one status

Congratulations Rob. This is just awesome, and so much time must flow into it!

The podium looks great. I voted the gold Carrera Panda glassbox for woty. Happy to see it made a good 4th place in the rating.

Some days ago I had the opportunity to check out the new collection in the metal. I must say the new glassbox solution looks great. Altough they did not have the gold Carrera. They had the Reverse Panda 2447 NS remake though, and it looks gorgeous.

Thanks Remo, yes... it takes a lot of time. Insignificant compared to the time it's taking to do the History of the Carrera though.

The new glassbox Carreras might not be to everyone’s taste here but it certainly caught alot of attention in social media even to those who are not thinking about TAG Heuer. As I have said, I own atleast 4 Heuer Heritage Glassbox Carreras (OG Glassbox, 160th Ice King, Hodinkee Dato, Panda 60th) and I love them all to bits, but after wearing the TH Carrera Skipper, it really is a good looking modern day watch. The complaint I see most people say about these older glassbox watches is mostly about the bezel ring, and now TAG Heuer has redesigned it by extending the glassbox effect beyond the tension ring. (But now, since the logo / branding has changed to TAG Heuer, it now becomes a source of complaint 🤦)
TAG Heuer needs to position itself as TAG Heuer and not as Heuer in this modern day so a mixture of heritage cues with modern design and reliable technology makes the new Carreras a true watch enthusiasts bargain.
I hope alot of watch enthusiasts also realize that if you love and are truly passionate about the brand, we want to support and give credit to TAG Heuer and wish them well to this new direction! Don’t you want your team to win and be recognized? 😉

I'm with You Doc.
I absolutely love the Skipper. It dominated my wrist time from July this year. The size is great, colours pop and on the Black Leather Srrap from the Standard Carrera it's so comfortable.

There will have to be something pretty special in 2024 to match the Skipper.

I voted for the Gold Carrera Panda Glassbox as my 3rd, although it did not get podium, it showed a good run for WOTY. For mortals, like me, having a chance to wear a modern day “Heuer Ferrari Carrera” is a great opportunity. Probably someday I can saved up for it and show to my car buddies who wear their modern day panda Daytonas 😝

I think you are the true winner here sir @Anthony.R ! All of your 2023 watch purchases made it to the podium! Kudos to you for having such great exquisite taste on TAG Heuer watches 🥰 May you wear them in good health! ::psy::
