Wait a minute TAG were 13 last year too so this is not new.
And this seems not to be a case of TAG failing but other brands booming, particularly during Covid....!
Will be interesting to see 'this year' represented in sales... when things have gone back to normal.

And Tudor have been stuck at 15 for three years, so all that wonderful press clearly isn't working

But TAG have a fickle market (entry level). I would expect them to be more up and down than a brand like Tudor. Plus if Tudor don't come up with some new models soon they are gonna run out of BB customers...

Theres definitely only space for another three or four BBs in my collection

Can you please explain this image to me, I keep seeing it pop up. Is this based on revenue? Number of watches sold?

hush with your science

From my understanding it is total revenue, in fact from the top ten, Longines has sold the most amount of watches per unit, followed by Rolex-- teddy baldassari has a great break down on youtube

Longines.... wow. That is truly depressing.
And confusing...I rarely see them in the wild on wrists... maybe it's a regional thing but with that said their Zulu time GMT and big eye chrono titanium automatic watches are great value for money not to mention their vhp quartz

Plus they have that 5 Star Trust Pilot thing on the dial, that must be reassuring for new customers

Seems like for years people have been saying the Richard Mille 'bubble' is going to burst, but it never does...

Because we regular folks have no say, when on average a watch cost 6 figures...RM sold about 5300 watch to secure the six spot...in comparison Pateck did 68000 to round up the top five... to me what is more shocking Rolex sold about 1.2million units-- how is something so mass produce even considered hard to find yet alone selling above retail

Yup, bland and mediocre wins the race. Must be really popular in Latvia or something...,

I genuinely find it hard to believe that Longines shift more units than anyone else!
Maybe it's the Asian market because in contrast I see Rolex on everyone's wrist( despite stores not having any) I can't say the same for longines but the numbers says otherwise, what's crazier, this was a down year for them!

Price point. Longines sells a ton of ladies' quartz watches and other lower end things. I think their most expensive watches are around the $3500 US mark, and that's for a really nicely made chronograph in the Spirit line.

They do solid gold pieces around 9-10k as well, really well made affordable pieces. Capped gold two-tone pieces around 3-5k depending on how much gold. Wasn't there also a platinum model with hand engraved dial released last year too? Or perhaps that one was white gold.

In Scandinavia Longines is extremely popular and I see them everywhere. A lot of people buy them as their one and only really nice watch. From what I've been told earlier Longines is huge in Asia, I guess they move most of their watches over there.

I am not surprised you would find classy, well designed timepieces "bland and mediocre" 😝

Vacheron took a dip too. Until someone decided the Overseas was cool and then up they go... I really wouldn't read too much into it. I fully expect the Royal Oak to fall out of favour at some point and then AP will dip.

I suspect a lot of this is consultancy B.S. Rolex don’t release any figures, and dont need to as they are a charity…

You're probably right, could as well be 2 million Rolexes pumped out every year
