I was young and foolish... as I remember it had a sort of Kirium bezel and bracelet, the dial was really nice and it had a plane on the second hand. It had some company name on the back, and there used to a website, I think it was Swiss Air Force Watches or something like that. I bought it from (you guessed it) eBay for about £80 and I think the seller said they were unsure... usual rubbish, but I was naive then. Of course once I bought my Kirium F1 I could see that the tolerance on the bracelet was bad, and also the silver coating came off to expose the brass underneath... but the dial was genuinely nice. Hilariously, I took it to a local jeweller to get the battery replaced once and he said he couldn't touch such an expensive watch!

I think I had a fake TH when I was 13 or so as well. Didn't have a clue about real vs. fake and my knowledge in watches was limited to the cool factor.

Great story about the Aquaracer for your wife! Congrats on getting your wife into watches as well  this one looks nice and fun to have something unusual.

I am still trying convince my wife that a Carrera would be perfect for her but she looooves her CK watch

Truthfully she didn't take much persuading.... :) but it does make it easier explaining why I need to have more and more watches!
I tried to convince her to buy a nice blue dial Kirium on eBay yesterday (£280!) but she's reluctant. Some might say picky.... hahaha.
I think she has this idea that you can't buy more than one watch in a month, I disagree. Hopefully I will be getting two watches this week.

Well, your wife doesn't have to ditch the CK watch, surely she can see the benefit of having a 'proper' watch for special occasions though.;)

Get the monaco24 and we'll wait for the great article that will follow afterwards.

Its been too long since you've wanted this monaco24. It's like Friends episode when Ross&Rachel finally together if you finally get one. (Sorry, i am a sitcom fan)

Hopefully you get the monaco24

Hi Otto... I like it, I really do. But I just don't think so... I need to get a few more pieces under my belt, and I will hopefully be picking up a Chronotimer this weekend.

Any guesses what my new 90s TAG might be?

Nope ::bleh::. I like the idea of the 'mercedes' hand though. Somehow its always remind me of why i didnt purchase tag heuer earlier.

Did you already bought it ? I thought you still considering it
