Rob we could do a WOTD watch of the decade for the 00's and 10's, that could be fun

You just put together material for all watches released between 2000 and 2020 and the rest of us vote

Oh yeah, some people didn't even vote for all the watches released in 2021, I can just imagine the reaction if I sent out a list of 6-800 watches.

Maybe a Top5 per year? That would be 100! Playoffs style. 100 then only top 20/25 will enter. Then so on and so forth ;)

    Yeah playoffs sound awesome.

Some counsil members are lazy (probably not as nerdy with "better" things to do) so the WOTD playoffs can be judged by a special exclusive COCO jury with carefully selected experts

This is as it should be.

Average scores can be skewed by a few overly high or low scores. The popular vote is a simple majority rules picks the winner.

This WOTY stuff is fun for our little forum, but really doesn't mean much. As an example, in TAG Heuer's IG Story poll of the Ice King vs. Montreal, the Montreal was the winner by 52% to 48%.

You sayin' Instagram is more important than the COCO? WTAF!

Yes. You've got less than 30 voting here, IG has thousands voting, TH has 2.7M followers.

But the COCO is a group of carefully selected aficionados with splendid taste and expertise in TAG Heuer. Instagram is just a place for drug addicts and silicon titty influencers :D

I wonder if TH did a World Cup of TAGs on Instagram, what would come out on top. Probably some phantom skeleton ceramic Carrera... cos all those pesky kids got zero taste. :p

How about some form of "Autavia Cup" mechanics ;)

I'm not following, they already did an Autavia Cup. What are you suggesting?

I'm just saying it's more representative of the real world. Here the Ice King took 2020 WOTY honors, but with the much larger population sample from IG, the Montreal was preferred over the Ice King.

I meant the mechanics ;) After a careful selection of watches included in a pool, then we do votation in rounds. If I can remember there were initially 16, then 8, then 4 in the final round. Just a suggestion
