A muppet I think. Oh no, wait that's Gonzo. Monzo is a UK challenger bank.

I think both of them are scratchy though... although the other one is definitely worse. I might try that, but I actually think the rubber retainers might look pretty cool.

Yessiree right on that! My first proper watch was this Formula 1 Indy 500. At the risk of being lambasted for the confliction of these two different forms of racing, I knew I had to have this. The 100th Anniversary edition of the 2016 500 race which I attended. That's another story in itself. It's not like I could've chosen another more appropriate one. Except the skeleton Carrera H01 perhaps. It is what lead me to this website after all. And has fueled my drive to collect both vintage Heuer and newer TAG Heuer timepieces.

Love the watch, not so sure about the strap - looks great, just isn't very comfortable.

I don't know whether to try and soften it somehow, or what? I don't want to give up on it cos it looks amazing, but.... I had it on earlier (obviously way too tight as I can still feel it three hours after I took it off!) and tight is better because it's not moving about. But I don't get how it's soo loose on the next hole down, the holes really aren't that far apart. I'm thinking should I try and make another 'inbetween' hole or will it rip through? Bah!

Maybe add another thick rubber loop, in addition to the one you have. That should tighten it up a little on the looser hole setting.

Another solution is to fit a TAG Heuer clasp, instead of the pin buckle. Then you can perfectly adjust the strap to your liking. Only thing I'd worry about is whether the clasp can grip the fabric well enough so it doesn't slip. But looking at the fabric, I think it would be ok.

Wouldn't that be difficult with three layers of material?

Enjoyed today’s blog-sorry I don’t comment on them often-so much I agree with, my wife wouldn’t thank me for a mega expensive handbag, she’d rather have loads of cheaper ones, regardless of which influencer has one, they all work the same without a fancy name. Although I suppose that could be said about us and TH, there are cheaper watc, no wait, I‘m talking pish, ignore me.:whipped:

Superb post today Aqua-G  I agree that internet probably gives the illusion of offering a broad variety of things but most people go after the same things, constantly being bombed with the same watches over and over in social media. If you didnt fancy a steel Rolex when getting interested in watches, chances are you will eventually desire one. In the Swedish forum I am active many people often say to new members "just wait, eventually you will see why Rolex is the best"
