A month wait is a long time. Is snowy sailing it in from Japan?
Initially I was skeptical on the design then after a few in-depth readings, the asymmetrical design was clearly a part of Heuer鈥檚 great motorsport and watch heritage 馃槈 I tried looking for one in Japan but with no luck. But I鈥檓 thankful for sir @Snowy鈥檚 help and response 馃憤

Thank you sir @Anthony.R ! I have to apologize to you since my initial reaction when you sent sneak pix was a hard pass LOL 馃榿 I was thinking before if the Carrera Fragment or the Carrera Montreal would be a good 39mm glassbox partner to the Ice King. But the Heuer Heritage in me made my decision much clearer and would make the collection more coherent. Also from a heritage point of view, the Howinkee Dato trumps both the Fragment and the Montreal IMHO, plus it also has the 160th Anniversary rotor (similar to the Silver/Montreal) that made me pull the trigger 馃憤 Bang!

Haha....yes I remember your initial response to the pics before release. We shared similar opinions and now I too have come to like the Dato. Enjoy it my friend and post a pic with it and your stopwatch together for me.

This watch really grows on you doesn't it? I'm used to symmetry, so I initially passed since I wanted a 2 register panda. Nevertheless, I still gave it a C.O.C.O score of 8.5/10. But now I realize its one eye is really a strength and gives it a unique quirky retro cool factor! Plus, it's still a true evil panda. The watch is even better in person. So if scoring today, I'd give it a 9.5/10.
