路I agree Hodinkee dropped the ball on the strap. No way a croc strap would have been their first choice. They usually get that right. Perhaps TAG Heuer wouldn't budge.
I've seen great examples on brown leather straps and grey natos on IG. DC shared this one on IG the other day, don't know if it's on the forum anywhere. What a difference.

This is FC5049/FC6350 (blue stitch) on the 160th (this is actually the same combo as comes with the Hodinkee Skipper and WV5111 3-hand Carrera):

Yes, fits the 160th too and all glassbox Carreras. FC5049/FC6353 are what comes with the Cal 18 Telemeter.

This is indeed the Telemeter strap, and I think C has the right part number. I used the 160 buckle though, which isn't made for the strap but can be convinced to accept it with some work! I'd recommend buying the Telemeter buckle as well though if you're not up for forcing it 馃槈

路On both mine and Jim's 160th/FC5042, it can be undone by pushing in just one of the buttons - not very secure - and it feels a bit wobbly.
Interesting. Yeah it doesn't feel very secure - the "snap" when you close it is not very positive, though it holds. I find that only the right-hand button undoes the clasp by itself; the left-hand one does not.

路Yeah it's not ideal, though it's something I've honestly come to expect from TAG. For me a deployant clasp isn't something I put too much stock into though, and at least it isn't going to fall off my wrist if it comes undone.
I have noticed though, that the subdial hand sometimes resets between 29 and 30min... has happened twice. Gonna play with it a bit to see if I can figure out what conditions cause it.

Well I thought it might have been occurring when I reset the chronograph from the back half of the range (15m+) but it didn't happen. Might be between 20 or 25 and 30m. Definitely is not between 0-10m though

路Yep, here it is after I stopped it at 21m then reset:
When I start it again after this, the hand goes back to 29. Then when I reset it returns properly to 30.
