It is actually -0,1 to + 0,8... I have done a lot of work on that movement.

Hi all, new member and new Aquaracer owner. I’ve got 10cents to add to this discussion if I might. Looking at the picture that Spartan gave of his movement and reading Sellita’s product guidelines:

http://www.sellita.ch/images/stories/documents/SW200_1_33_20150226.pdf

On page 4 it indicates that the top and chronograph models have an Incabloc shock protection and the lower grades have a Novodiac shock absorber. Looking at Spartans pic it would show an Incabloc on the big ruby visible which makes it a better than Elaboré movement. I would be pleased if my Aquaracer was the same. I’ve seen many pictures of other Tags opened up having Novodiacs also so I’m not even sure if his having an Incabloc means that mine will have one too (which is a little disappointing) I have had mine for a week and love it, it’s gaining right on 5 seconds a day at the moment which I can live with. There’s an easy fix; once a week just unscrew the crown and pull out to the last position for 30 seconds then push it back in and you’re back on time.
What I would like to know (because I purchased an Aquaracer because it apparently was robust for the active gentleman and the ETA 2824 or Sellita SW200s were supposed to be pretty hardy little movements) ..is what can you do in these? Can you go for a run, ride your bike..hammer in a nail or throw a ball in the yard with your kids? Maybe operating a jackhammer is over the top but you know..? Opinions please..I’d like this watch to last a while.

I have done all of those things with my aquaracer, including operating a jack hammer. It keeps terrible time, but it kept terrible time when I bought it, I don't think it's got any worse! I'm going to get TH to fix it, but if it's still bad I might fit a quartz movement instead.

From my personal experience, you can do anything you mentioned above.

Just don't do what i did, that is magnetizing it accidently.

Sure you can always demagnitized afterwards but i found out this SW200 movement is really really really "attractive" to magnetism.

Ipad cases are the killer! I came home to find the cleaner had put my ipad in the drawer next to my bed...on top of my aquaracer. Really annoyed that TH don't make them with antimagnetic movements.
