I can't quite believe we're hearing the word "sh1tter" in relation to any El Primero, let alone this one. This watch is beautiful! 38mm, exceptional chronograph movement, and in a manly colour too. I mean it might not be my top first choice out of the El Primero line-up, but it's up there.

Personally think the previous one gets my vote but that was a one off;

I hear you, but for some reason I value my own opinion more. Joking aside, I would love it if it had another dial colour, another movement, a different case, was made by another brand and preferably had a diamond bezel 👍

Oh, so you want it to look more like a Hublot. 😉

In all serious, though, what is your issue with the El Primero movement?

As for the colour, I can seriously see myself purchasing a Shunbun at some point in the future. I've seen it in real life and it's an absolute beauty. I'm not ashamed to wear pink if it works.

Nothing against pink in general, the pink diamond dial 36mm Aquaracer I would love to rock if it didn't wear so tiny. The GS looks awesome, just something about those Zeniths that doesn't speak to me at all.

On a completely different note is there much love/ownership experience of sinn watches on here? Seem strong value propositions and several case shapes with heuer dna. Wondered if many on here own any?

I have never owned one, their designs are a bit too "toolish" for my taste but I will never forget the time I was handed a screwdriver and challenged to scratch the tegmented case. "Go as hard as you can, I bet you cant scratch the case" he said with a big smile on his face. He was correct, I could not scratch it. Huge respect for Sinn. Their prices have gone up a lot as they have gotten more mainstream and these days I would rather buy a Damasko, they also have some superior tech compared to Sinn, often for a lower price too.

Been tempted with Sinn a few times. Indeed when I was looking to buy my first luxury watch I seriously considered one of the chronos. Went TAG Heuer Carrera in the end, though for that purchase. I also had a special edition 556 on pre-order once, but got cold feet and cancelled prior to delivery. I think I knew it would be flipped. In general, I like them though, but I've not been able to find that killer piece. I could probably point to one or two I really like but of course they're always either unavailable, too big for me or the more expensive models in the range, which kind of kills the value proposition. For example:

I like Sinn a lot…never owned one, but their 903 Navitimer does appeal (especially now the Breitling is £7k plus).

They seem to be quite tricky to buy at the minute though - very long lead times on lots of models I believe?

Interesting many of us have looked but then gone to something else. Most of my ‘possible’ models are actually discontinued ones. @dtf I do think the sinn bund is a really good way of getting a modern bund style watch… I thought I’d secured a ‘dark star’ when they were released but they had sold out and the website was teasing me
