F, me! The Alpine Eagle is £11,600 now... I thought it was 'only' £10,000.

Yeah, Watchfinder have them, but still £9000 or so... on the plus side I hear they are virtually unscratchable.

Been tempted with Sinn a few times. Indeed when I was looking to buy my first luxury watch I seriously considered one of the chronos. Went TAG Heuer Carrera in the end, though for that purchase. I also had a special edition 556 on pre-order once, but got cold feet and cancelled prior to delivery. I think I knew it would be flipped. In general, I like them though, but I've not been able to find that killer piece. I could probably point to one or two I really like but of course they're always either unavailable, too big for me or the more expensive models in the range, which kind of kills the value proposition. For example:
Get this one. I've tried it before and it was amazing in terms of price and quality.

the size is just perfect IMHO

So I think this looks good. In various face Colours, 36 and 39mm

bit pricey maybe at circa 3500 quid but cheaper than a jlc memovox, with a proper ‘those who know’ cache..

This also looks interesting. Limited run, but only 500 quid plus vat. Available for order on 21 sept on the collected man website.

I do like that dial I have to be honest. Channeling a bit of calatrava??

Yes a really nice one. However it’s only 36mm, which would be fine but the bezel takes up a lot of that real estate.

I’m a bit tempted by it to be honest; even just to see how a 36mm feels. The dial look fantastic for the price point

Not surprised to see these sell out on day 1. I didn’t take a plunge; not much else getting on my wrist other than the Tudor at the moment

Anyone already aware of this beauty (IMHO)?

2.2k (euros) and 60h of PR (not 100% sure, but I think Union has access to the same improved ETA base-calibers as Longines has).

Rather attractive package, innit?

Damn, just as I suspected…Union are one of the weird Swatch group brands that are very hard to buy in the UK, just like Mido.

The chocolate dial version of that Noramis diver is just gorgeous…

And one more from Glashütte to end the day…

Also available in black and red (with black and silver bezel, respectively). This time, Tutima has chosen a mass-compatible 40mm diameter. Everything else is also solid middle-of-the-road stuff and the price remains <2k.

Watchville is shutting down, this is annoying since it was an easy place to find lots of watch news without visiting ten different sites
