Yikes!

At least the finishing is what one can expect from modern Breitling...

I’m sure all brands look less than grand under macro

Besides that shows it’s artisan doesn’t it?

Tried on a lot. The current SuperOcean wore lovely, nice & slime, & modern looking (polarising I know) bezel action great, however basic Selitta (COSC spec but not antimagnetic). I tried on the premier 40 thought was lovely, SA said people complained as too thick, I didn’t think the case.

The Superoceans are OK, not my favorite in the looks department. I've personally found the Premiers to be far too thick and large for their dressy looks - the dimensions might be OK for a sportier watch but a super thick dress chrono just isn't right IMO.

As for the Sellita - depends on the price to me. My Sellita- powered Superocean Heritage 57 is still the best timekeeper among my entire collection!

Many brands do look like shite when inspected closely indeed. What doesn't sit right with me is Breitling's strategy of making a cheaper product with sloppier finishing than before, sold at a higher price.

I'm going to reserve judgment until I can see them in person - I think these may have been pre-production models. That sort of QC is very unlikely to find its way into stores or customers' hands I think.
