I’ll give you a profit and send you £40 for it.😗 Beautiful piece, I’d buy a waistcoat just to pose with it.::psy::

I actually got some silver pocket watch chains (a double Albert graduated link, which I halved and removed the drop from, and a straight double Albert) and wore it to my work Christmas party (it was at the Grand Brighton) with a waistcoat. Had to be careful, as the crystal hadn't been replaced yet!

Added another Heuer Helmet to my "Other Things" collection.

Supercool @Mspeedster
You know what the addition of my Heuer Helmet/Helmets did to my life.
Transition from no bike to a whole new level of Mid life crisis.

Congrats on an amazing addition to your "Other things" collection.

Big thanks to the ever so kind gentleman, Anthony! I am so happy about my new cardholder, looks and feels very premium and the colour is so cool. Gotta love this community!

This is cool

Cleaning cars with my girlfriend’s dad today - we came across a stash of F1 season preview magazines from the early 90s at the back of his garage. What a time capsule these things are - with some cool watch ads too…

The 1994 cover seems remarkably poignant in hindsight:

As does this advert for a slightly later S/EL model featuring the legend himself. A reminder these watches are under appreciated…

Longines VHP ad (my girlfriend’s dad still owns this exact model):

A truly awful Watches of Switzerland Rolex ad that could almost have been written by Harry Enfield himself:

And my beloved motor looked great for the first time in months! Roll on the good weather…

After the Autavia Heuer 02 (CBE2110) came home, I was very happy to add the Autavia book to the ones I already had on the Monaco and the Carrera. 😀

Thank you TAG Heuer boutique in Barcelona (La Roca Village)! 👍

Nice collection! Still trying to get a copy of Paradoxical Superstar, myself. Once I do, I'll have to collate my collection (most at work, some at home) and take some pics. If it takes long enough, I'll probably have the Carrera 60 book too!

Congrats Albert! When I purchased my Carrera Dato 45, the Boutique gave me the Autavia book as a gift. I asked if they had the Carrera book, but they couldn't get it anymore. I'm hoping to get this year's Carrera (60th anniversary) book to complete the trio.

Thanks @flawless and @Mspeedster ! 😀

I’m also planning to add the Carrera 60th anniversary book (by Nicholas Biebuyck), because this one will be available to buy as a normal book 👍

What makes this 2018 trilogy so hard to put together is that you can't buy them in a bookstore or on Amazon. From time to time one appears on eBay, but at exorbitant prices. I'm glad that Nick's book can also be purchased traditionally, and not only as a gift at a TAG Heuer store or AD.

Picked up a monochrome cover version of Unforgettable Steve McQueen, and also nabbed a copy of the Heuer Monaco - Design Classic at a bargain price (with that fragile soft-touch surface on the cover). Oh, and a bunch of old display shields.
