Yes, I think it is the Carrera Calibre 16, as seen here.

Also wearing in this video.

It's his normal watch for race weekends.
Keen to see what he is rocking this year.
Not long for the first race of the season.

I know Daniel Is wearing a $1.2M creation from RM this year.

Good taste on the TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf 👍 Too bad it’s only the pRetendeR and not the true King 😉 probably the Gulf Monaco CAW211R should be the Gulf StewaRd 😗

RM’s can be 1200 dollars or 1200^6 dollars, I don’t really care. For something unattainable and all hype up, it just seems unrealistic for a watch. And the designs are 🤮

I agree that some of the designs are terrible but the same could be said of any watch brand including TAG Heuer.

I once tried on a Lotus F1 special edition RM (AUD1.2m from memory) in Hong Kong and sure it was light and very comfortable on the wrist:

Agree, I’m not saying all TAG Heuer designs are superb. But most of this RM’s are just “status symbols” and not really a watch but weird luxury.

is this, ugh, something you personally own?
LOL. No, something I saw on Facebook. My kids are way too old, but maybe I'm not. 🙄

Part2 finally arrived!! Yes!! ::psy::

Steve McQueen’s Le Mans Graphic Novel 😎
Part 1 (20) & Part 2 (21)
Very detailed artwork on fine glossy hardcover 👍
Must have for a SMQ, Le Mans, Heuer, Porsche/Ferrari fan 😁 (ticks all the boxes 😜)

Just a side note, among these three motorsports movies (where Heuer is also very prominent)
1. Le Mans
2. Rush
3. Ford vs Ferrari
I realized that Scuderia Ferrari always seemed to take the antagonist / non-protagonist role.. 😲😲
Is it because Enzo Ferrari was known to be cold, mysterious and at times ruthless to his adversaries & even to his drivers? 😕

Also in the movie Grand Prix (John Frankenheimer)... for me the greatest of all motorsports movies

Objectively, it's a better movie than Le Mans. The opening sequence at Monaco is amazing! But for me, I think Rush and Ford v Ferrari are more enjoyable to watch.

Also, while I don't think Heuer was featured directly in Grand Prix, its star James Garner is famous for his personal Heuer Carrera. That movie is such a time capsule! It captures the glory of the 60's Formula 1 perfectly, with many F1 greats having cameos in the movie.

Watched the trailer for Grand Prix... is it a documentary or a "normal" scripted movie? 😒

It is a normal scripted movie but very well set in the world of Formula 1 of the 60s. Fully recommended, and with a great soundtrack by Maurice Jarre. I'm sure you'll like it 👍

I also recommend it. Especially for @kappa_md, since he likes Honda. There's a fictional team that is basically the Honda F1 team by another name. Also, one of the main actors looks a lot like Jim Clark.
