After all the hoopla TAG Heuer made of getting Ryan Gosling and then they get this new nobody as the "face" for the new Monaco at Monaco?

Yes, it would be awesome to have some female ambassadors... but since there isn't even a ladies F1 anymore, what they hell are they selling exactly? Just Aquaracers, a few Carreras and 1 or 2 leftover Links?

In any case, I wonder who the target demographic was for these old adverts? Ladies watches, yes, but probably more eye candy for the opposite sex. 😗
Moreover, they often wear men's watches too. You know the old saying "sex sells".

Perhaps Elordi appeals to a much younger demographic than Gosling, but I doubt that teens and young twenty somethings are the target market for a $8k+ Dark Lord tribute.
They even have the audacity to use the term "Prince of Cool" with his image! Really?

·I don't have anything against this guy. Just trying to make sense of why they used him for the new Monaco and not Gosling. I'm sure they spent a ton of money to get Ryan Gosling. Perhaps Gosling had a filming conflict or something. But he seems to have vanished after launching the new Carrera line last year, hasn't been seen with a new TAG since. What a waste.

Eh frankly I think the whole ‘ambassador’ model is pretty weak when it involves actors or models or whoever, that have no organic connection to the brand.
TAG should stick with racing as its angle IMO
