Looks like it’s common to this movement in this watch. the guy at goldsmiths tried one of the watches there and it did the same thing
Doesn't seem right.

I own 3 Monacos. Two purchased in 2019, with the Calibre 11 movement. My other one was purchased 10 years ago, with the Calibre 12 movement. Just did a test on all 3 of them and they all run smoothly, no jumping seconds hand upon chrono reset or anytime during chrono operation.

BTW, TAG Heuer stopped using the old McQueen box a few years ago. My blue McQueen, bought from an AD in 2019, came in the following box. Is this the box your watch came in?

However, FYI, the new H02 Monaco comes in a different box.

Very grateful for this information.
The AD offered me £100 for falsely advertising and the trouble they caused. I refused so got another offer of £150. Which I may take but did refuse to start with.
I saw the Steve McQueen box for sale on Chrono24 for £340
I think I should get that amount at least.

Thanks Mspeedster. dodgy dealers that Watches of Switzerland ltd.
I wonder if it’s a bad batch that has been rolled out. Or worse still maybe it’s your Monaco’s that are fake

To be fair Mappin & Webb are eventually trying to put things right. They say TAG have located a Steve McQueen box and are sending me it

LOL. Extremely unlikely. One was purchased directly from TAG Heuer via their official website, the other was bought in person at a TAG Heuer Boutique and the third was purchased in person from a well known and reputable AD that has many stores all over the US.

Nice! I would've preferred that box too. 👍

Nice move. Would love to have a look round a tag Heuer boutique. Lockdown spoiled that privilege. Hence the online fiasco.
Maybe i could sell the box it to you. Haven’t made my mind up with things yet.

Not bad, not bad at all!

I'm sure you could easily sell the box. I'd be interested, but probably not for the amount you'd likely want. If it were me, I'd keep it.

I bought this wooden one for my McQueen, so I'm good. These are my favorite TAG Heuer boxes, which were used for certain LE Monaco's in the early 2010s.

Wow nice box. No innuendo intended.
I saw the one I’m getting going for £340.
I can’t believe that a box can sell for that amount.
Mind you I just sold Lego Chicago on eBay for nearly £100 . Madness
