I'm just going to park these pics here. The Omega NTTD joins the Heuer Night Diver in my mini Bond watch collection.

Look at what we have here, a gold TAG Heuer S/el in "Tomorrow Never Dies"! Or is it? More like a knock off I think, no TAG logo! 馃槖

This scene is from when Bond (Brosnan) is in Wai Lin's (Michelle Yeoh) secret hide out in Saigon. He's reaching for the Omega Seamaster.馃嵖

While most of the speculation is on who will succeed Craig as the next Bond, here's an interesting "what if" video on who should replace Omega as the next Bond Watch. (Spoiler: TAG Heuer is included.)

Christie's is having a 60 years of James Bond auction in September. Both an On-line & Live Auction, with many cool items for collectors.
https://www.christies.com/events/james-bond-sixty-year-anniversary/what-is-on

The Live auction has the really good stuff, which includes many of the actual vehicles and watches from No Time To Die.
The Seamaster worn by Daniel Craig.

DB5 Stunt Car

Vantage V8

The Omega Aqua terra worn by Craig and the Aston Martin Super Leggara driven by Lashana Lynch are also up for auction.

Also on this same auction is a special On Her Majesty's Secret Service 50th Anniversary set of Seamasters, signed by George Lazenby. He is my least favorite Bond. Furthermore, he wore Rolex watches in that movie! Omega trying to rewrite Bond history at it's best. 馃う馃槨

But I do think the Globe Trotter luggage carrying case is very cool. 馃グ

After watching No Time to Die, I finally understood why Omega released a OHMSS 50th anniversary piece. It's because there are many elements in the NTTD movie that pay homage to OHMSS. Had NTTD been released in theaters in April 2020 as originally planned, it would've been right on the heels of the 50th anniversary of OHMSS.

I enjoy his videos. David is like the ultimate James Bond fan. I liked the time he visited the London Omega Boutique during the world premier of NTTD. The Omega Boutique was also filled with Bond stuff, like M's desk and portraits of the various M's (which I think were in the movie) etc.

The Omega Boutique part starts at 17:07 into the video of the Burlington Shopping Arcade, they spend a lot of time in the Globe Trotter store looking at Bond luggage.

New Lego NTTD DB5 Speed Champions set. I think it looks pretty good for a mini version of the car. But why did they give Bond a big wrench and not a gun?

I saw the 'Monaco Maniac Seamaster' aka NTTD Seamaster again today. No doubt still my fav Omega. (Also tried on the blue standard edition, must say, Omega nailed the shade of blue on that one.)

The standard Seamaster 300M is a great value compared to the price difference of the NTTD. As you're a Brosnan Bond fan, the blue one would be a great choice. Then again, I don't disagree that the NTTD is the one!

I've pulled the trigger on a NOS Commander Watch. I know the 007 hand is polarizing, but I've always liked the overall package and finding a NOS example was hard to pass on. Some pics to follow once I get it.

Congrats @Hubert! I recall seeing the Commander NATO strap holding a spot for this watch in your watch box, glad you finally got one! 馃憤
Looking forward to the pics! 馃榾

So I haven't seen a Bond film since Golden Eye, but I just read that he died in the last one. Then I read the next movie will see a 'complete reinvention of Bond'.... I do not see this going well. How long until we see a complete reboot of the franchise with James Bond alive and kicking again when they realise they need him to keep the cash coming in?
