James Bond MI6, Double O! The quintessential spy agent! Could’ve been more perfect if he was wearing a Heuer/TAG Heuer IMHO :D

Heuers would’ve been the perfect watch combo for his Aston Martin DB5 :p

Just wanted to share. Before news broke out, I recently bid and won for a 1:18 AutoArt Toyota 2000GT convertible/cabriolet popularized in the James Bond film. Not knowing it was also the same day Sir Sean Connery passed away.. I was really happy I won and I would remember Bond & his Japanese Supercar. Then the next day, I heard the sad news.. It’s probably fates telling me to treasure this even more. The world will miss you Sir. Your legacy within the hearts of many. Thank You Sir.

Jesus, when was this shot? Seb still had his hair!
I think they shot it fairly recently. Difference between dry and wet hair maybe?

If they want to capture growing markets then a Bond with a turban would be a smart move. Actually this must be a nightmare for the people who own the rights, how do you maintain the integrity of the character and avoid a Ghostbusters scenario? Maybe this will be the last bond film for a while? Let all the nonsense play itself out and then come back with a 40 year old white guy. Or maybe they need to go for a full on trans black eighteen year old, let it tank and then come back with an actor appropriate to the series.

Wow, the Independent described the current James Bond as better because he's 'less of a flagrant 'rapist'!

"The cry of “Death to Bond!” isn’t a product of Bond as a character. He doesn’t need to be made Black, or broke, or a woman. The idea of having him look like Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page would be a bit of a smokescreen, a bit of casting trickery to conceal the fact that these movies just aren’t compelling any more. Because Bond himself has in fact evolved, in increments at least. He’s a bit more traumatised and angsty than he used to be, less quippy, less of a flagrant rapist. Yay to progress. But the bones of these movies have remained static, reliant on the same visual and narrative signifiers that have long been deemed essential – the gadgets, the goons, the girls (less like set decoration today, but still very much “the girls”). It is a franchise terrified of change yet happy to gesture to the illusion of it."

"No Time To Die: Daniel Craig's final Bond film gets five-star reviews"

In his five-star review of the film, Kevin Maher of The Times said: "It's better than good. It's magnificent.
"Craig is a towering charismatic presence from opening frame to closing shot, and he bows out in terrific, soulful, style."

In his own five-star review, The Guardian's Peter Bradshaw described the film as an "epic barnstormer" which delivers "pathos, action, drama, camp comedy, heartbreak, macabre horror, and outrageously silly old-fashioned action".

I think it would be a complete disservice to whichever diverse person they could cast as the “new Bond”.

One such actor who always gets discussed is Idris Elba. There is no doubt that he could carry out an extremely convincing version of Bond, but why diminish his performance by forcing him into being Bond himself?

I would much rather pay to see a completely new 00x character who has scope to be something significantly better, for this age.

This makes sense. Bond should retire.
