Is my TAG Heuer Authentic? All questions here please

OK guys. I'm back. To say I am addicted might be an understatement. I fell in love with this Pilot chrono. Its from the early 90's so pushing 30 years old. My one question on this is the date wheel. The pics I've seen on the buying guide here have the date wheel in white. This one is black. Did this movement ever come with a black date wheel?

Thanks Hubert. I actually read that. That article is actually what has me worried. You see the CS1111 in the article has a white date wheel on the black face but this one has a black date wheel. That said, I have seen some on google that had lack date wheels so I'm pretty confident it's good.

Welcome; I'm not familiar with this particular model, but as others said, no red flags stand out for me either.

I think watches with slide rulers are too complicated to mimic.

Fakes from that era were a lot easier to spot, and I doubt that watch was a big enough seller to warrant copying. What you might have to be more concerned about it as a Frankenwatch

The movement seems to match what it should be. The hands seem to match up and the patina on the hands and dial seem to correspond. What other parts might they interchange. It already doesn't come with a bracelet.

I didn't mean that watch specifically, just watches from that era might be more likely to be bodged up perhaps - rather than proper fakes.

Hi, i bought a Tag Heuer Carrera calibre 01.
Something thats bodering me is that i have a feeling that the TAG logo is not straight positioned. In my opinion its a little right down.
Anyone has an opinion?

In my opinion, your Tag Heuer logo positioned itself just fine.

I would say it's same as mine (if you can see it from my rather small picture).
