Then I guess we should assume the backplate isn't original or it somehow got put on the wrong watch?

Now I have exactly the same problem, found a grey dial s/el on Ebay with WG111C stamped on the back, should be red dial...

This one looks like a fake but the one you posted above that looks real.

Fascinating. Very descriptive and trustworthy.

It doesn't seem to load now... for the benefit of latecomers, the description was 'tag heuer' the picture was an out of focus photo of a TAG logo, possibly on top of a box... and it was £30. But that was essentially 'it'.

Hello everybody..!
Yesterday, my wife came back from the pawn shop with a new 400$ toy... It looks like "never used".
I said: Too good to be true...! It must be a fake..
Then I started to learn about Tag heuer watches on the your web site and now I'm not so sure...
May I have your opinions..
