Is my TAG Heuer Authentic? All questions here please

Hey folks,
First sorry if this has been asked before, but I figured this might be a good thread to get an answer. I picked up an old TAG 1500 (wd1200) and I was trying to find out when it was manufactured. I bought the watch at an AD, so I'd be very surprised if it wasn't real. Anyway, I identified the serial number and am looking for a guide to translate for it. Anybody know how to read them or where to look online?

TAG Heuer aren't at SIHH because they aren't part of the Richemont group. That aside, that looks like an awful fake 🙁 !!
