Take out a pin and barrel from the bracelet. Then it is easy to spot....Post a pic.

Not always. Pin and barrel pic is a sure way to check even if it is not registered as many grey market watches are not.
Replicas do have correct serials quite often.

Thanks for everyone here that answers. I recently bought a tag heuer "used" on ebay, on the surface everything seems legit, except there are no scratches on the "used" watch, like not even the least bit of desk wear. Serial # is registered on the warranty site, (out of warranty)
Aquaracer WAY101C.BA0746 and that matches, when run on tag warranty checker serial and warranty code match up.

Reason i'm posting here, the movement threw me off, it looks like a ronda 715, and I've never heard of them using a 715. Thank's in advance!

I checked for my watch and the links that were taken out and the pins look good, in one end there is nothing, and on the other there is like an opening between the end and creates like two bulges if it is the correct way to say it, only with a picture I can clarify my idea.

Thanks for posting. Sorry, but I believe this is a fake Aquaracer. You may want to check out this thread here:

https://tagheuerforums.com/threads/how-to-spot-a-fake-quartz-aquaracer.168868/

I know the serial number matches up on the warranty site. However, savvy counterfeiters tend to recycle a real serial number on numerous fake watches. So checking a serial number is not a very accurate method to validate authenticity.

I highly recommend that you return the watch! If you are interested in a "modern" Aquaracer, go to an AD. It's just too risky to buy from the second hand market which is flooded with fakes.

Thank you, I'm glad I went through eBay and Paypal so returning it was easy. That link pointed out the lume pip, and yep, it is wrong on the watch I purchased. They are getting clever using real swiss quartz movements (even if the wrong one).

One of the ways that I have been told to check for a tag heuers authenticity is to look up in this site for the international warranty card number, I’ve looked it up and it matches with the serial number on the watch, the warranty card number, the date, and the model itself. Is this enough or how often fakes get this right?https://www.was.tagheuer.com/AfterSalesService/CustomerWarranties

No, this is not an overly reliable method to verify if a watch is genuine or not.

The watch is fake, the serial number appears on several watches ... it appears on Reddit with the same number ... how is this reported so that they deactivate that guarantee in TAG HEUER>?

Not sure we can do anything about that.

On another note, from the photos you posted the watch looks like a fake. You've just confirmed that with the serial number issue. Absolutely return the watch. Better yet, get a refund and return a box full of rocks! LOL.

The seller offered to give me a return (he already did it) before I sent him the watch... I don't know if I'm in bad faith or stupid... he has an excellent reputation on Ebay... But I think he knew that the watch was fake .He sent me the label so I can send it...

he has an excellent reputation on Ebay
Ebay is an endless ocean of criminals with excellent reviews. People give good reviews because they don't understand that fake watches is a huge part of Ebay's business model.

Ebay gives you 60 days to leave a review. How many people realise they have a fake within 60 days?
