路eBay does have a good return policy though...
the price was way less than 1/2 retail and I want to be sure.
In my extremely newbie opinion: A "new" watch won't ever have an aftermarket cyclops installed and that one is also waaay off. Bezel pip looks terrible to me as well. I imagine if you compare the back engraving to what's shown on Tag's site for that watch you'll see font variances too. Ebay will get you your money back though if you report it. It's well worth carefully reading through this thread if you still want to try your luck on another non AD purchase. Some real experts on this subject (including Jim above) here. Or save yourself the trouble and head to an AD unless your heart is set on this discontinued model. Beware though: the quartz aquaracers are pretty much the most counterfeited Tags.

Case closed, after one poster raised concerns, and another poster had a folksie saying I decided to take the watch to my jeweler and had the back taken off and mech looked at to decide definitively.... Its real. Thanks to that one person for actual information.
You know, I've been really busy, and haven't had much chance to come on here lately. But I had a small window, and browsed, and I wanted to be helpful, but you decided to insult us, so I doubt you're going to care about my help. lol. Well, sucks for you I guess, because your watch IS fake. and your jeweler knows nothing about these fakes, if all he did was open the case up to see that it has the generic movement tag heuer uses in their watches, that all the fakes also use....
And how do I know your watch is fake, based on the single picture you gave us? Because I looked up the seller.

So if you believe this guy has access to multiple brand new tag heuer watches, that he sells at half price, then enjoy your watch I guess. I'm just glad to see the auction prices not going that high. It shows that enough people now understand what to look out for and aren't getting tricked by these sellers.
Also, the fact that he lists " new with tag", despite not having a box, is a HUGE red flag. He probably realized it's easier to fool people, cause the boxes are garbage. Not to mention, it's cheaper to ship. But, guy just got ahold of a dozen brand new tags without boxes, and off loaded them in a couple weeks, at half the price of everyone else, and no one is suspicious.
I got a new Tag Hauer off eBay, new with stickers BUT no box. The price was right, so I pulled the trigger. Before I leave a review for the seller, anyone have any helpful tips/hints to see if the timepiece I purchased is in fact a good deal, and not a worthless Chinese clone (It would make me sick if I left a seller a positive review after they pawned a clone on a unbeknownst me.). It鈥檚 not exactly an Omega Speedmaster or an AP Royal Oak for $350-$550, but the price was way less than 1/2 retail and I want to be sure.
Enough backstory, the watch. It's a green khaki Aquaracer with a date and a cyclops over the date "WAY101E". The watch looks nice, the still attached stickers looked like all the other ones off eBay I've seen from other seller/listings, watch action is smooth when setting time/date, magnifier magnifies, blue and green lume is bright. I looked up the serial number on Tag Hauer鈥檚 "Customer Warranties" and the watch appears to be there EXCEPT, the watch Tag Hauer鈥檚 website shows does not have a cyclops (mine does have cyclopes). I went to a Tag Hauer location and asked if they could look at it and confirm or raise any red flags they might have with the watch and they were ZERO help. Essentially, they said they couldn't look at it, Tag Hauer has a serving center in New Jersey that could look at it, but they don't authenticate, and they didn't even know the costs associated with that, have a nice day. Which brings me here, now. Any thoughts? I don't want to post my serial number for obvious reasons, but are there any known serial numbers that pop up on fakes? My watch seems legit, but this my last try at confirming the watches validity before I leave the seller a positive review.
Thanks
Easy fake cyclops over the date doesn鈥檛 happen on quartz Aquaracers.
Sorry you鈥檝e been done, you鈥檙e ever now out of pocket a bit (brought to keep a fake watch) or enough to request a refund.
Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it. If Tag Hauer never made a quartez aqua racer with a cyclops that's a rather simple thing to point out. thank you.
I鈥檇 personally say fake if it鈥檚 meant to be this https://www.tagheuer.com/kr/en/time...er-aquaracer/43-mm-quartz/WAY101L.FC8222.html

quick google brings up this https://www.tagheuer.com/kr/en/time...er-aquaracer/43-mm-quartz/WAY101L.FC8222.html
but in my haste, Google images does bring up a version with a cyclops but unsure if they鈥檙e reps.
I鈥檓 95% certain no quartz aquaracer with cyclops but I鈥檓 also no expert
