Unless when you send it back they claim its now damaged and can't be resold. Opening up that dispute and telling the arbitrator to accept Tag Service as the source of truth may be better IMHO. The pins empirically prove this.

wait wait... the plan is to make a video of testing that the watch is working, video of me packing the watch and dropping it at the post office.

and also... if an item is suspected counterfeit, it "can't" be resold... so I don't think he can't claim unable to resell...

to my understanding, dealing with lost and damaged shipments is a problem of a person who paid for shipping... and since "return item not as described, remark, possible counterfeit", he provided the shipping label...

couple of times when I've returned or shipped the parcel it sat at the parcel shop for a week... and if I "purchased" shipping label, I was dealing with it.. otherwise carrier company told me to contact whoever purchased shipping label... which is silly because shop allways told me to wait for quite a while before they could declare parcel as lost and start dealing with it...

The pins empirically prove your bracelet is fake unless your included link was not from the bracelet itself which may be possible. Ideally to prove a fake bracelet you need to extract a pin/tube yourself and analyze. Plenty of inexpensive kits out there on amazon that give you the tools to do this yourself too.
Sucks for them then. They have to refund you. NO matter what. Period. No questions. No ifs and or buts. You don't have to prove shit. You don't even have to provide a reason. No defense. NO response. Nothing. Open a case for item not as described. And return the watch, and get your money back. Or send them a bag of rocks, and get your money back. I have NEVER sent back a fake watch to any seller who I see knowingly sell fakes. The only time I have, was when it was an individual, who got scammed first.

yeah me too... if not this I would definitely send it in just to get official paper.

to be honest they said second option after sending it in is they would return the watch with papers to sign that I can't resell it. which also would make getting my money back a bit harder I think... yesterday the guy was "no need to send it for service, it'll take too long, don't be like this, it's expensive watch, if you don't like it just send it back. " let's see how quickly he will issue return postage label...
LOL yeah, that's not suspicious AT ALL.

one more picture... when digging trough this thread, you guys okey-ed the black whatch... but I can't see the difference between bezel pips that I couldn't attribute to angle or light?
Blatently different bezel pips. Real ones are flat, with a glassy surface, and look like they were inserted in. The fake, on the left, is dome shamed, with no glassy surface, and looks like lume was just poured in.

to be honest if he is a bit daft genuine guy dealing with this first time, I do feel for him.
imagine if you sell a watch you believe to be genuine and someone says nope, fake! wouldn't you think the other guy just bought a watch and now is trying to scam you?
eh.. that's my problem. I believe in best in people before proven otherwise...

What model are you looking for again? Maybe you're right that I was looking at the wrong seller. The listing you linked ended, and I had just looked up the listing number.

Also, the bezel lume I"m referencing, is only for the ceramic inserts, or solid steel bezels. Not the steel inserts.

nah, listing has ended, seller has nothing else listed (yet! let's see when he gets the watch) even according to tag store bracelet pins was a red flag, and the store guy honestly told me if not the pins, he would think the watch is genuine and if I want I could send it for service. the s

ceramic inserts? solid steel? steel inserts??? wait now I'm confused and you're giving me headache... how does steel insert look like?

but thank you about finally explaining about bezel pip!

which model I'm looking at? well I somehow fell in love with this one... doesn't scream dive watch at me but simple sporty watch with plenty water resistance....

Because it's not true.

I mean he didnt say they "will" destroy the watch. He said there is "a chance" they might decide to do so.

Holly **** took me digging this thread since sunday but i finally found a picture of real lume pip compared to fake! Now im pretty sure i havent noticed a real aquaracer on ebay since i started looking! But to be fair even looking at tagheuer webpage (renders?) I wouldnt call lume pip flat due to light... but than again im 2 years too late to have seen real aquaracers in stores...

1am so im too sleepy to edit but instead of "thermonuclear astrophysics" its "aquaracer" and instead of "last night" its "last week"

Once more... how does this aquaracer with steel insert looks like?

Found this in a box in my grandmas attic. The box contained various watches that once belonged to my grandpa. Couldn’t find any wk1211 that look like this one online.
Any help is appreciated

I would say it is a fake watch. Wrong hands, weird looking links, and general look of the metal used in the watch. Also the logo looks strange.
Someone else might know better...

Sorry, it's a fake. The TAG Heuer logo shield is wrong.

Start of the superfakes of new model? If ive sort of learned to tell if the model im loking for is a fake, what about the new models?

Also... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18613132...LzuzHG2ROG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Some spots on the bracelet near clasp, near lugs and also near crown looks a bit weird. Does sandblast titanium get lighter spots? Or same colour scratches?

I have a feeling by the time i find a deal on ebay, ill have saved for a new watch...

I got a new Tag Hauer off eBay, new with stickers BUT no box. The price was right, so I pulled the trigger. Before I leave a review for the seller, anyone have any helpful tips/hints to see if the timepiece I purchased is in fact a good deal, and not a worthless Chinese clone (It would make me sick if I left a seller a positive review after they pawned a clone on a unbeknownst me.). It’s not exactly an Omega Speedmaster or an AP Royal Oak for $350-$550, but the price was way less than 1/2 retail and I want to be sure.

Enough backstory, the watch. It's a green khaki Aquaracer with a date and a cyclops over the date "WAY101E". The watch looks nice, the still attached stickers looked like all the other ones off eBay I've seen from other seller/listings, watch action is smooth when setting time/date, magnifier magnifies, blue and green lume is bright. I looked up the serial number on Tag Hauer’s "Customer Warranties" and the watch appears to be there EXCEPT, the watch Tag Hauer’s website shows does not have a cyclops (mine does have cyclopes). I went to a Tag Hauer location and asked if they could look at it and confirm or raise any red flags they might have with the watch and they were ZERO help. Essentially, they said they couldn't look at it, Tag Hauer has a serving center in New Jersey that could look at it, but they don't authenticate, and they didn't even know the costs associated with that, have a nice day. Which brings me here, now. Any thoughts? I don't want to post my serial number for obvious reasons, but are there any known serial numbers that pop up on fakes? My watch seems legit, but this my last try at confirming the watches validity before I leave the seller a positive review.

Thanks

You'll need to post multiple pictures to allow us to check. Especially of the bezel and the 12 o clock dot

Can do, I just added a high res. image of the watch face. Let me know if a certain area needs better images.
