Anything that says CR7 on it that isn't black and green is fake without even looking any further. For some reason the fakers are obsessed with using CR7 (which is from Cristiano Ronaldo's F1), that and the Eiffel Tower for some bizarre reason.

Not seen gold before but at a quick glance on the caseback my1000 the emblem is simply ‘stamped’ on the back and is shiny in the centre rather than the grainy finish on these. Do the bracelets have the dive extensions ?
Sure someone better equipped will be along with better comments.

Hey, can anybody check if the photos of my watch is genuine or imitation?
And if it is genuine, what is the original retail price & current market price?

So, you know.... I can't help myself when I find this crap on Youtube, I always leave a comment. And I always get the same dumbass reply.

'First copy', or sometimes 'AAA'

But even if it is 'AAA' quality it's still fake. And if by 'first copy' they mean 'indistinguishable from the real thing' and yet I can tell within one second that it's fake then surely not.

Well first of all, the S/EL is not an 80s watch that nobody cares for.... as a glance at eBay will show. I own three mind you so I could be biased.

I have pretty much every TAG Heuer watch listed and still adding more.
Care to add another to your collection? lol 😀 Plus, I'll throw in two others

More info.
The return address as given by the seller appears to be a shipping company in Austria.
The seller has been in touch with me and the wording of the messages lead me to believe the seller is from further afield than Austria.
He's asking me to return the watch.
Too late as it's on its way to tag!

Hi Jonnyv,
I've also bought a series 1000 that, only after having looked through all these forums, appears "fake". This time it's a bright blue variant.

Bought from watchcompany-1, who have now disappeared.

Where exactly did you send it so that TAG could "authenticate" it as I may do the same.

It's strange, because even though they don't look 100% legit to us, if TAG are saying they're real, then they must be real.

That bezel certainly looks like an aftermarket addition. The watch itself (dial, hands, case, caseback) look too well done and well aged to be fake to me. Not going to stake my reputation on it, but let's just say I'd be very surprised if it was an out and out fake.

Wait, watchcompany-1 ? When did you buy it? They should have been gone awhile ago.

And yes it's the same fake 1000's we've been discussing on here. Bezel aside which is not original, look at the end links with the large code and wide flat retainers and the hollow folded over center links of the bracelet. All the fakes have the same thing.

So these are artificially aged?
