Glad to hear you will get your money back! And yes indeed it makes you wonder how many out there are enjoying their fakes on wrist thinking its genuine... are these still sold on Amazon by Amazon themselves?
Yes, they have them back in stock here;

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TAG-Heuer-...d=1&keywords=TAG Heuer&qid=1608369285&sr=8-37

Look at the price - nobody else sells them that cheap. You can see they are using a stock photo with the genuine watch but as we know, that is not the watch they sent me.

Lol @ the cyborg bit. Glad to hear it worked out for you with amazon. Hopefully my return goes smoothly as well, having to deal directly with the scammers themselves via ebay.
Yes - I hope eBay do the right thing for you.

Will Amazon destroy the fakes on return, or, resell? Not that I’m mistrusting them.

How many? 1000's from just ebay alone, in the past year. Easily I've taken down 100's of these listings alone. And that was after they sold a lot of watches already. . Then there is amazon. And walmart. I've given up taking them down. Just a new account pops up, one after another. There was a few months where the guy gave up. But then started up again. I ran out of energy. ebay clearly didn't care, seeing as how the guy isn't in jail for committing MASSIVE fraud. Even big sellers like watchingo.

Well, you're supposed to send it back to the seller. Not amazon. I've never sent a single one back tho. Sometimes I've sent a literal bag of rocks. Sometimes an empty box. Sometimes a box with just the watch box inside.

It's shocking really how widespread this is. Amazon have already refunded the money into my account and I haven't even posted the watch back yet. This smells like guilt to me but why do they continue selling these fakes? - and how are they getting away with it? I feel like uploading a video on YouTube to warn people and show how to identify the replicas.

I got $3000 worth of refund from amazon and I didn't need to send the watches back. YET, the guy is still selling watches.

And part of me worries that if I disclose too much info about how to spot these, they will just change tactics. I'm not always awesome at spotting fake watches, but am good at spotting SELLERS and listings selling fake watches.

Good day to all, hope everyone is good😀

https://www.ebay.com/itm/133347199881?&ul_noapp=true&autorefresh=true

I've noticed that the case backs usually say WATERRESISTANT as if one word... is that common for all Tag watches?

They're asking $2,133.95 on ebay

This seller appears to sell a lot of watches with really good reviews
chrono_store (10071 )
100% Positive feedback

You must be familiar with them, right? I looked up their location on google maps and everything looks legit. They blurred out the serial number and I can only find listings for this model of watch on ebay, amazon etc
TAG Heuer Link Watch WAT1350.BB0957

It's fake, right? 😉

I read through the Ultimate Guides here and didn't see the model so I'm either not very good at my research or it's a fake.

I also read that the S/el I'm trying to sell is considered an 80s watch that nobody really cares for so that sucks for me.

Not a tag heuer watch but just wanted opinions on this watch.
Was going to buy it but couldn't find any info anywhere.
Seemed to have an isofrane strap too.

Ok, why is it a fake? The seller has 100% positiv feedback by over 2000 ratings?

I'm not a regular on here, but this subject was talked about on this thread last year Or may be longer ago.
This model watch was never available on this red colour.
I bought a fake and got a full refund.

Well first of all, the S/EL is not an 80s watch that nobody cares for.... as a glance at eBay will show. I own three mind you so I could be biased.

As for this watch, I don't think it's fake. Googling the part number brings up many results including The Watch Source
https://www.thewatchsource.co.uk/Tag-Heuer/WAT1350.BB0957.html

You won't find listings for models on jewellers sites if the watch is not in the current catalogue.

You could try looking here also: www.tagheuerenthusiastgallery.blogspot.com

I have pretty much every TAG Heuer watch listed and still adding more.

Also, it's pretty unusual to find fakes of women's watches, maybe because they tend to be bought by husbands as gifts and so usually bought from authorised dealers. No one wants to give their wife or girlfriend a fake watch..
Plus this watch has a machined dial, something that's hard to fake.

That may be true and the account 100% genuine, but it doesn't mean this particular watch is legit-which it isn't. While the 980.913N does exist, the colours are all wrong here, the hands shouldn't have black edges and the number seems to have been laser printed on the caseback.(which is seen in other fakes.)

Interesting one. Appears to be a Spirotechnique branded watch in a Monnin case. However there are some things that are less usual-

-hands are unusual style
-dial seems too small for case (more likely from a smaller 'full size' model)
-no date window frame
-Isofrane is not wholly relevant as less likely to have been issued on one, even if it is an original one. (which i can't say.)

It would be useful to see the caseback and movement to say more but I'd say this is probably OK. (but don't quote me!)
Thanks, Steve

Thanks for the reply Steve.
I didn't buy it as I don't know enough about this brand.
But would of bought straight away if I'd of taken a chance.
Pic of caseback.

It doesn't tell us much unfortunately, other than the Iso. appears to be at least period correct. As with everything it always comes down to price!

Look at the difference in case backs, and end links, and the bracelet itself. And It's not even the first time that we've caught on here very large ebay sellers selling fakes.
